First AuckGeddon experience?

Ahaha, I remember mine. I was with my friends, we had to wait at the bus stop for my other friends for 20 minutes. We decided to go on the bus without waiting, and she turns up as we got onto the bus.
After we have gotten off the bus stop, we got lost. So we got out a map, and ended up like tourists walking around Queens street.

~~Then we stalked some cosplayers to find our way..~~

We decided to shop around Borders for the manga section. And then, we got lost in there. So it took us another good 30 minutes to get out.

After that, we finally found the place. We then had to line up. Alright, so we had to keep walking to the back of the line..Walking..Walking.

~~I had to resist so much urge to rape that Tobi cosplayer..~~

The line stopped, right. And where did it stop? The line stopped at where we came off the bus.

So then, we waited another good 1 or 2.

And insanely enough, we were such n00bs. We didn't know there was a 'ticket pre order line'. We waited an hour or two to figure out there was. After we did, we gave our preordered tickets and got it.

Phew, that good 5 hours to get there, no?

Im an old fart. My first was in 2005. Also my first time cosplaying. Damn american cons influencing me XD
Ah~ Cosplayers are so nice ;A; I was alone and confused in the judging room and they all huddled around me welcoming and eeee~ Such a nice feeling ;A;

Friends didn't want to go early, so we ended up going in the around 11? Everyone was pretty much inside by then I think 'cause I don't remember there being much of a line.

I remember fangirling over cosplayers from a distance though, recognising characters here and there excitedly. =P

I'm looking forward to going for the second time this year though. Going to cosplay~ ^o^

My first was 2001 or 2002, not sure. I went with my family every year until last year, because I had no friends who were interested in geeky stuff XDD And now I have you guys <3
The cosplay sucked hardcore though, it's amazing how far it's come in a few years.

Oh and I took photos of Tammy back in 2005. Stalker whatttt.

Mine was last year. I went alone D:
I wasn't in the line for long, since I got there almost half a hour early. I got lost, there were too many floors (3 XD)
I thought it was acutally dull compared to the Wellington one, at which, I was also alone XD.

Mine was this year monday Its was soo cool it was my first time cosplaying ever and my first auckgeddon expereance i meet some really cool people and well it was fun i got glomped by 12yroldfangirls (Scary when your first time cosplaying is at a expo).

*shudders* but my keyblade WAS AWSOME!!!!!

It was so fun >w<
I made friends with this guy called Hugh who worked at one of the stalls, he was brilliant xD Five minutes after we met he demanded we share some Hello Panda xD
Also, watching the DN movie on the monday was so fun! I love how the whole crowd laughed when that guy took ages to die ^-^ It was like I was in a room full of friends :3

I usually went every year but hadn't for a few, went again 2008 and have been and will still be going ever since : D Bad grammar? I cbf checking xD
2008 was my first time cosplaying. I was by myself, but my Dad and brother tagged along behind me for ' protection' whatever. My brother was practically breathing down my neck, he was like Ryuk xD I ditched them in the last 2 hours of Geddon and hung out with the Pokemon crew who i met a few days before [when i wasn't in costume]. They were so nice C:

Mine was this year, I wanted to go last year but couldn't due to a dance comp. I took a friend with me and my entire family came, all of them some form of nerd. Cosplaying there was so awesome and I'm so gkad I did for my first time going up, it's not like I wouldn't of as I'm not that new to cosplay to pass up an excuse to walk around in costume.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and if I hadn't of cosplayed or known people from here it would've been nowhere near as fun and meeting people irl was so cool, I can't wait for Wellygeddon (I will be there dammit) and the next Auckgeddon now, well after I've done my costumes that is

I've been to every Wellygeddon since I was thirteen, but this year was my fist AuckGeddon!

We were like. first in line both day. At 6:20. It was fun-we just whipped out or DS and PSP and whiled the time away.

First experience, last year; 2008
I was supposed to cosplay Kairi but ended up doing a last minute character PJ's ( which I don't actually count as my first cosplay )~

Was supposed to go on Saturday, but. Missed my friends, they went on the train without me, caught on by myself.. got to the second stop when I realized I didn't have my wallet/camera.. had to get off.. and trudged home from there.. IN THE RAIN.

So I went on Sunday and :
I was in awe. Seriously ~<3 I fell in love with everything; the cosplayers, stunnning costumes, the atmosphere, stalls, flashmobs, events.. everything !

AND WAS JEALOUS/ A BIT MIFFED. Because I didn't have an awesome cosplay.

2009 was waaaay better but I'm real sad it wasn't at Aotea Centre because it was a better hostplace.

Hmm my first time was last year with my mate Nick. Kendall and them helped me get in line for going in first...my time there was awesome but i didnt stay for long...just a few hours.

My ex dumped me on that day and then had dinner with my mates family and him. Then got home to tell my mum she said i was an accident...i was crying like hell.

Also called my mate tommie kun to talk with me.. i went with him on monday from the money my brother gave me..Thanks bro again for this year too.

When i went on monday it was better than Saturday...i met alot of epic people except Bjorn.....so funny...

Im glad for this year and it was my first time cosplaying too
