He was fantastic! He was dressed like this Urban Guru type guy, but totally channelled Reggae when he played his guitar songs. Im gonna put up some videos... once I figure out how to go that.

XD my first thought when I saw Greg Cipes (if he is who I think he is) was that he looked like he thought he was a rockstar Razz

then a stoner. I was pretty shocked to see Rufio though! I didn't get in line for that, 'cause I didn't want any autographs from the guys in that group, then when I found out he was Rufio, I was like D:<

But, OMG. Laura Bailey signing our stuff was awesome. First Moogle A pulled out Kiddy Grade, and she was like 'Kiddy Grade!' then Moogle B pulled out Gunslinger girl, and Laura was like 'I LOVE THIS SHOW.' And then I pulled out the Dissidia Lithograph, and she was like 'OMG.' .. it was pretty awesome Very Happy

hooray for the love of obscure shows that the VA's don't expect to sign things of on... or something lik ethat >_>; orz

Edit: Oh!! LuluLuluLulu! Was that anyone here? I had a really awesome moment of pointing at her, and being seen pointing, and then hurrying over for a hug and a photo 8D

Lots of great cosplays! I tried to take lots of photos (will hopefully get them online soon), but I've got a really bad cold this weekend sad

Most of my time I'm curled up resting, haven't worn any costumes yet (the first time I haven't costumed at Geddon since 2002...). Hopefully I'll remember to take more photos tomorrow :)

Saturday was physics awesome

talked to the avatar voice actors lots at their panel, and gave them badges

The only thing I have to say right now concerns photos.

Guys, when someone says no to you asking to take a picture, please try and respect that. I knew going into 'geddon today that something 8059-related was bound to happen, purely because of how me and syne act with each other. This afternoon, from some time just before the cosplay games started through till just after everyone was finished, I slept because I was worn out from lack of sleep for the past three weeks (mostly school related), stress, family issues and all that lovely stuff. I was also told when I woke up that there had been people who had been trying to take photos and that, while most people obeyed immediately, there was someone - i can't remember who she said it was - who was pestering and insisting she get back into the position she was in when they arrived so they could take a photo.

So, yeah. Guys. Please respect cosplayers wishes concerning photos. Even if you may not know the exact reason why, think about what it would be like if you were in their shoes - would you like it if you asked someone not to take a photo and they kept bugging you to let them so?

omg that's... bad. Especially since you were asleep and had given no consent.

Also... PLEASE don't glomp people in cosplay UNLESS they have said you can. My wig almost got knocked to death by more than one person today and it is very delicate! Thanks >> <3

That's not the point.

Many people are fine with hugs and everything, but people need to show at least a little respect and ask before hugging or glomping someone, as there are some extremely delicate costumes around. syne's holsters yesterday were fragile enough that being kicked accidentally while sitting down broke a few of them off despite the amount of glue.

ETA: There's also the matter of creeps. We had an issue with one on Saturday where a guy came up behind syne and began stroking her wig and making rather crude comments.... hell yeah we were freaked out of minds because this guy was freaky. Asking is how we distinguish good people from these creeps. Creeps don't ask. Friendly people do. It makes us feel safer.

(Me especially because I have a tendency to punch anyone who touches me without telling me they're going to first)

I showed up on Saturday and Sunday. I was the Cissnei (aka girl in a suit with the curly brown hair) and personally, I was pretty amazed by the difference between this year and last year. Everyone was so much friendlier and blaaaaaaaaaargh <3.

I couldn't go to the ball (Family birthday party) or today T_T I hope Jeeves doesn't injure herself or anything. Not likely but still. Worryworryworry.

That was my first time at armageddon So I didn't really know what to excpect, but I loved it! So many stalls and people! I've olny been to one other con before, and this was my second time cosplaying too ^^ [ I was the blue sworded anbu during the day and the belarus cosplay during the Ball Very Happy
