lol practicing skit... again and again and again >> I'M SO NERVOUS.

How does the judging work? I've never entered before lol. Are you judged in front of everyone else? lol?

Have a look around the stalls particularly Vagabond, Theoworld, HobbyJapan (The stall with the Gundam right next to the entrance) and Pulsar Max. They're the merchandisers.

@becky; yeah, you're judged in front of everyone else. it's real low-stress though, all the cosplayers are real nice. (: just... auckgeddon judging takes forever.

Mission: I'm thinking of making the exact same fleece kitty/panda/bunny/frog hat they sold at Armma and it turns out that I'm being too picky >_>

There were 50 entries last year. I have a feeling there'll be a fair few more this year.

it's actually kinda better performing in front of all the competitors 'cause you're all like-minded and... yeah. they appreciate you a lot more than the generic armageddon-going crowd. (:

yeah... it'll take forever, rofl. kiiiinda glad i'm not up there entering this year. ;; last year, fran had a massive nose-bleed while we were in judging and couldn't leave the room after judging finished... michaela and ange had to give her painkillers and stuff and augh. it was a mini-disaster.

For me, I prefer larger audiences to smaller ones XDD I find it way easier. I was in a small theatre production once at the Herald Theatre, which is quite small and really intimate... I found that scarier than any other theatre/public speaking I have done so far XD

I'm just nervous because my skit is musical theatre (Sera Myu!) and I have a coldddd *drinks honey*

Pulsar Max is overly expensive though. It's a Wellington shop (lul, I had a small chat to the guy that runs it cuz we know each other 8DDb), and urg. Just so over priced. Their manga is $25 per volume normally. And can go up to $35.

I'm pretty much the same, I'm just working out something to do with the Tenten I was with today (Chicken Skratch or however her names spelt) for DO, it makes me feel sad really
