Next year there will be two classes: Open and Novice. Open will be for ANYONE AND EVERYONE! Novice is only for unexperienced cosplayers~ :3 Basically if you've won something or gotten honorable mention before, you're in Open class. :3 Although I believe you are allowed to be a novice in Open class, if that makes sense.

@Cacti: This is true, but the judges can't give honorable mention to EVERYONE, as much as they'd like to. I was talking to Michaela after the competition and Kurt walked past and Michaela stopped her and thanked her for entering, that she did a really good job and that she wished she could have given special mention - being a judge is hard, 'nuff said! 8(

Jess and I were upstairs today, near the dubbed screening room, just getting out of the crowd and taking photos with the lovely Rose & Blossom, and at one point I said to Jess:

"Greg Cipes is right behind you."

8D It was great because it was true! The guests had to walk through that area to get to the staff lounge. :3

Oh really? I totally missed that one. :O It would totally have made my day if Travis Willingham or Laura Bailey had said something - they walked past a couple of times, heheh.

...I was jealous of Kurt for getting a hug with Greg Cipes. D:

EDIT: OH WAIT NO I DO REMEMBER. I just didn't connect Craig Parker with 'Legend of Seeker guy whose name I don't know'. XD I thought THAT was pretty damn awesome, 'coz they deal with amazing costumes all the time on that show. >w<

EDIT: And man, the melb cosplayer (whose name I have entirely forgotten) was cool. *o* Both in costume and as a person - was chatting to her for a while whilst she was signing a thank you card for the judges and she seems awesome. >w<

First time at Auckgeddon, and it was awesome. You guys are a great bunch of people to talk to (Even if I've forgotten all of your names, sorry!). I was the Black Mage (technically not Vivi!) on Sunday and apart from the excessive overheating and many trauma-inducing hugs, I really enjoyed yesterday. I managed to successfully confuse at least two people of my actual gender as well, so huzzah!

Also, apparently when I was asked to pose with a group of people for a photo, Seth Green (at least, I think it was him) managed to sneak in it(?!).

Aha! You were the black mage - you were awesome! >w< Seth Green did indeed turn up to the games - I'm really glad I found that out afterwards, as if I hadn't I would have just been like a dear in the headlights hosting it all.

(but I was soo suprised when I went to my chair for the cosplay games and found 'Ciel Phantomhive' with 'Happy Birthday~' underneath, awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <33333333333333333333333333333333333333 thank you guys~~~~~)

Saturday.

Stood in line for too long.
Then realised that I didn't have to.
Because I bought my ticket online.
Walked around for a while, found kelseyketchum, clung to her for a day and a half. Bought badges.

Sunday.

Met up with kelseyketchum again.
after cosplay games, i hung out with fred, roku, zu, beth and people that i forgot because i am almost going to fall asleep on my keyboard.
oh joy.

Monday.

Hung around with aforementioned pedos.
I cried because I miss you all.

Hmm... Your mask DID look a little bit... dark and hard to see through... My friends were asking me about how you were able to even breathe through... that.

Oh dear... I only got to see the last 5 min of cosplay games! Judging from the happy audience after the show I'll say that it was a huge hit ^^
