Working on tickets, should have them printed and ready in the next couple of days (if heatstroke doesn't get me first).

That's the plan, and I'll check for double-ups before printing. That reminds me - I put down the arrival time as 7:30; was that the general consensus? Suddenly I can't remember :O

umm. u_ne_korn has the notes.. top of my head yeah I think it was around 7.30 or 8ish. Allowing for about 3 hours before things have to wind down for cleanup and people to head home (or of age drinks if applicable).

You should post that info on the thread too, I told the girl there wasn't a start-finish time yet. By the way, what IS the finish time approx.?

AFAIK (current plans still to be nailed down) the discussion was along the lines of a 7.30/8 start, gives people a chance to have dinner and let it settle before they get there. nibbles at the venue, and end somewhere around erm, 11ish? cause we've still got to take decorations etc down and pack up afterwards.

Argh, yes I have the notepad. I shall transcribe forthwith! I'm a lousy secretary. And no, no contract yet *hajgkrhkdfgshg* Apparently getting contracts out of venues is ALWAYS like pulling teeth though.

But yes, 7;30 is good. If people show up early we shall simply put them to work. And if anyone is still there at 11, they shall also be put to work Very Happy

I still have this bizzare urge that it should be going longer, but I honestly don't understand why. 3 to 4 hours is a perfectly decent length of time for a Ball.

Sylvie, if there could be tickets by next weekend we could whore them at the plushie picnic. No pressure, just saying Very Happy

I shall probably whore the Ball at the picnic regardless of tickets.

Yeah, if the tickets aren't ready we can always offer to take payment then and there, take names, and either get them to them as we see them before, or post them out if they give us an address. If the height of the tickets isn't more than a standard business envelope size I can probably snaffle a few pre-paid envelopes from work as long as we're not posting too many of them.
