What time is it? If it's before/after the zombie walk I'll totally do it, since you don't mind. Although I'm a little worried about wrecking it for the other actual cosplayers, haha.

And I totally did not make the connection between 'Heavy Weapons Guy' and your avatar... Durrr.

Tried to convince my boyfriend (Half Life 2 Headcrab zombie) to join, but no such luck. If it was a saturday (I'm cosplaying as Alyx from HL2) we could have had a Valve dance Very Happy

Ha, I won't be in cosplay. I will have a headscarf hiding pincurls though, so I'm thinking I might end up as I Love Lucy or something....zombies rule. Very Happy

Sorry guys, I can't post as often as I'd like, (shift work) but I will do big posts.
First off Welcome kyokyogirl, IX and mystix-candy!
Saboteur, I've just asked the Games ppl now if I we could add it to their programme,
for Sunday 2pm or round that time, it would be great if you could make it.

Oh, and regardless of the positions, I'll try to stay in the centre, so those stage right of me will 'dip' (0:52 from the clip) facing stage right and head that way for the runaround (and ofcourse those stage left of me, will 'dip' facing stage left and head off that way). Gee, I sure hope this makes sense?!

As a tip, (to help with timing the actions) it pays to have the lyrics. Now the clip version differs slightly from the original (as they've cut it a bit) so I'll post the lyrics as they appear in the clip:

ETA: Oh, yeah, I'm tall ish for a girl (173cm), so I hope I don't block any one behind me inadvertently by clomping around on the stage.

I'm not sure how many of us are in Auckland at the moment. We may not be able to meet up until Sat of Armageddon, in which case individually (or pairs) we should learn from the Youtube vids.

Arrrrggghhh... I'm working NightShift that week, and have a big family function on the Friday. Unless you guys wanna get together in smaller groups but then again, if you've just travelled to get there, maybe you want to rest up Friday Night.

Sorry for the Double Post (admins please excuse this)
but just heard back from the organisers, unfortunately the Single Ladies Dance
can't be put in the Cosplay Games section, as, understandably, it's not actually anime or cosplay related. So..., as a Newbie I'm unsure now as to how and when we should perform this. So I'd like to hear your thoughts please.

*I've just heard, there's cosplay games outside (weather permitting) on Sunday, prior to the indoor games. I'll just find out some more details. But still interested to hear your thoughts*

Outside might be a good option, as long as someone has a portable stereo thingie with good sound.

Outside is a good idea, with the outdoor cosplay games would be fine. Though I am not adverse to just setting up and gettin' down in any random place XD
