The forums are free aye? Just change the name on this one, and create another one that says 'we've moved to -> *blah*', then lock all posts. ;p

Actually, the method suggested means that you DON'T lose your posts - there are no posts to be lost. We just re-name this forum, and create a new forum called Auckland Cosplay and there lock it and provide a link to this one. Which won't be this one, as it'll be CNZ. So don't worry, what's been suggested is very intelligent. Very Happy

Yeah, sorry: I sent the email AFTER changing it. XD I've now set up a "redirect" page at aucklandcosplay.forumotion.com - there's a message there telling everyone of the redirect, so now they CAN'T get lost. >=D

erm.... just a little something, i can't view the old address, keeps asking for username/password. Is it set to guest viewing?

um... yeah, it doesn't have a message re-directing, all it says is to log in.

if that fails just put a note in the banner giving the new url...
