... But can we not watch AMV Hell 3?

... Innocent wee Pyro does not need her mind distorted more by the horror of AH3...

AMV Hell progressively got worse and worse as time went by. Although I didn't really mind them all as a whole..... Except AMV Hell 0, that thing is just horrible.

0, well, 0 is best not watched at all. Also CE is rubbish

Totally agreed.

1 was awesome.
2 was still great, but lacking the spark 1 had.
3... I haven't seen all of it, but it's kinda failrific except for a few stellar moments
4 is nifty in parts, and more fail in others (the others being like 90% of it)
Haven't seen 0 or CE.

It's really quite boring. We've ended up doing that at both of our anime-a-thons. I started to fall asleep at the second one.

And truthfully, AMVs bore me.

Voting beforehand is better since it would also determine who brings what so we don't overpack. And also means we won't be subject to the chaos of trying to vote then and there.

And we probably dont need to get people to bring box sets, it's only going to risk people having them damaged / lost / scratched.

i'm sure i have almost everything most people will want to watch, i can just bring my computer (and hopefully the hard drive wont die on me this time).

Ok so there is one very important series that no one has mentioned yet..... "Get Backers"!!! if you wanna get a feel for it go on youtube and watch ep 39 with English subs. It is must see and i can bring on laptop (I will just have to check with parentals on that tho) only got 49 eps but is totally awesome!! I also have Elfen Lied and others that not many have mentioned either.

Yeah, I quite enjoyed Get Backers aswell, it was a good series. I watched it on DVD with English Dub'd Audio.

I too love Getbackers, I'm collecting the manga which is as usual so much better, well save for the fact that early on, Tokyopop did their usual thing of loosely translating things to make it seem more American and as a result, Ban and Ginji started speaking gangsta' thankfully that stopped very quickly and it is very enjoyable as there is a LOT more in the manga that the anime never covered (although manga never gets Kazuki in a nurse outfit)

Anyways in terms of stuff to watch, since I imagine we're assuming fansubs are being run I feel obliged to post my collection which I carry with me at all times.

We watched Princess Princess at ADP, I was never really particularly interested with it, while it was amusing at points (eg. trying to guess the family roles in that one episode where no one looked their age and the bucket scene in ep 7 I think) I just didn't really get into it.
