Okay so if we are able to get and hook the equipment up and all that...

what anime do people wanna see?
these are just suggestions, will take a vote later on to decide on what we'll watch...

I mean we could just watch the first volume of various anime, just for some well variety...

I've got up to Ep 80 of KHR - subbed. (edit: Ep 81 - woohoo - it came out 3hrs ago). But the series is just about a marathon in itself, especially if you add whatever comes out before August.

LOL i found gravitation hilarious, and the summary of the first episode icyrose gave me was so accurate...lyrics write meets singer, they kiss in elevator.

but I guess it would be interesting to go on watching it... but won't most guys there get grossed out? =[

I'd say so, would prefer to play something that'll appeal to most, but then whatever we play someones not gonna like =P which is why we'll run other games or whatever.
Besides the anime we watch will most likely be chosen by vote, I'ma thinking we can get a couple of series and a couple of movies...

We'll do a vote, I was gonna say closer to the time but I think we have enough anime to choose from oO... um

but first

How do we want to do this:

~ watch a couple of anime series (all of it) + couple of movies
~ watch some volume 1's of various things + couple of movies, or,
~ just pick like 10 anime, 3-5 movies and decide on the day if we want to watch full or part of them etc etc (yeah I went overboard with numbers but whatever...)

So Pyro's got projector, and dvd player (oh we can test if fansubs work on it.) Then again if we wanted a fansub that badly we could bring a laptop and run it from there couldn't we?

what about watching something a little different instead of a series? i know that there's some extremely hilarious AMVs around, and if anyone has ever been on niconicos, there's a lot of awesome movies where people have drawn in different series (like the ouran opening, but with reborn/d.gray-man characters etc.)

Oh, btw, forgot to mention. I bought one of the 6 DVD - Armageddon Auckland 2007 sets. I haven't had a chance to actually sit down and watch it, but apparently it's got all the Auckland stage cosplay and panels etc on it. So can bring that along if anyones interested. It's not anime, but might give a bit more variety, and I anyone that couldn't make Auckland might be interested in seeing the cosplay competition. :)
