Suikoden Group - 2011

Ahem!
As 2011 is probably going to see me starved of both time and money, I'm narrowing my cosplay plans and choosing only those which truly appeal to me. The result? Suikoden! I know there are a couple of people already keen for this, but I'm now gauging wider interest/ making it semi-official by giving it a thread. C: Not fussed on which event at this stage - presumably it'll be a non-comp day of either Christchurch, Welly or Auckgeddon next year.

I'll most likely cosplay the protagonist, Tir McDohl, from the first game (my very first RPG, n'aww, emotional attachment~!):

Obviously I'm not going to list all the characters... 'cause there are 108 in each game, excluding the NPC's & recurring Stars of Destiny. sweatdrop

Instead, I'll list them as people express interest/ sign up for characters specifically. Feel free to choose a character from the Tactics/ Suikogaiden games too, if you like; I've only provided image galleries for the installments I'm familiar with, but I'm happy for you to choose from the others.

grr i saw a pic of him wearing a queen's knight uniform but i can't find anymore ref pics D:
I think it's from a novel~ it looked cool

but yes, shifting towards Frey(main outfit) because i want to make his weapon.
if there is someone else who is dying to do him, then Lyon.

Ah damn, I want to do Frey too, I've also always wanted to make his weapon. ;_; I want to cosplay someone from the 5th game, I'm just not sure who (Apart from him) too many choices. ;_;

Um, I'd probably be only able to do this group if it wasn't on a comp day as I pretty much have most if not all of my comp outfits/cosplays planned out already for 2011 and don't really want to change. sweatdrop

@s-in-c Oh, I think I have some pictures of Frey in the Queen's Knight armour on my laptop -- I'll have a look next time I'm home. Not entirely certain, but I remember seeing it as I was wading through my image folders yesterday. xD

@RMD - Don't worry, it definitely won't be a comp day. C: If you were wanting to make Frey's weapon, you could always choose Roy? He has a similar costume design and a pretty much identical weapon (plus, he's also from the fifth game)... ...LolAlex. I am not putting all of those characters next to your name. xD You shouold choose Luo-Tao anyway, because he's awesome (and happens to be my favourite character from Tierkreis. 8D; /totally unbiased opinion).
Hum. Out of Roberto & Xebec, I'd probably go with the latter characterwise... Roberto is kind of a douche, but admittedly, his costume is cooler. <<;

Naw, Frey is way cooler and prettier too (Has a thing for white/silver/blonde haired bishies), I'll just have to settle for fangirling over Shinrii instead. Razz

Still need to decide who to be ... hmmm ... I think I'll borrow the game of my flatmate, he has it, I haven't played it (Except for the fishing game which I am amazing at) I've mostly just watched him play, lol but I've always loved the outfits.

Welly or Auck Geddons probably works best for me, I think I'm full up for ChchGeddon 2011 already, lol. sweatdrop

I've never played any of the games (I want to, though! D8), but I was looking through art and I found a gorgeous outfit I want to do. If you do this for Auckgeddon (I'm full up at the other two cons), then count me in as... Apparently her name is Josephine? 8D?

Grr, making this thread has made me want to play the games again, but my holidays are nearly over! I should really get around to playing the third one, but 1, 2 and 5 are so good! x_x

Yes but you haven't played 3 and it is awesome.

I should also point out that _BlazingBlossom_ will be joining as Apple. Unless I change to Shula, in which case she'd be Sharmista. But I think I'd probably do those for a competition entry some other time.
