Hello wonderful people in CCC! (Christchurch Cosplay Club)
Thought I should let you know whats going on at OTBC and what will be happening sometime in the near future
(if any other OTBC people wanna make a comment on this please do)

So the lounge which has been used by CCC at least once a month, is having a MAKE OVER~~~~
New things of nearly EVERYTHING! Having it opened up a bit more, and the main door will be more obvious (so people dont get lost waiting outside for ages!) etcetc

What does this mean for us as a cosplay club?
Well any events you would like to hold in the Church lounge later in the year (not sure of renovation dates yet) may need to be held elsewhere. Don't think it'll interrupt to many events, but in case you were planning anything after Oct/Nov may need to look elsewhere for a hall/lounge

Though next year will hold some new fun with a better and newer lounge.

I gotta talk to the Elders first
(One of them likes me and wants to have a cosplay event at his place (he has a pool, a spa, and a suna) but his wife won't let him sad

Well, in the mean time during the renovations I could volunteer my place - its big without all the painting stuff. It'll just depend on time/days.... Or another church hall close to town would be good.

Wow, that is awesome. If I was his wife, i totally wouldn't let him either.

well I Don't know when the dates of the renovations are yet. Still might be in the clear.
If push comes to shove could have it slightly earlier?

Well will this affect the christmas photo thing.

I have ideas for stuff outside of the hall anyway. I'm sure as the weather gets better people will organize things outside.

I think Sakuras place is good for small stuff. But a hall where we can fit the whole club and all see each other would be good. Maybe retro nights would work at her house. Having said that there are heaps of halls around if you want to pay something reasonable, scouts, guides, community halls, church halls, etc. Some for like $20ish?

Christians don't lie. Just say who we are, and the most of us are from churches, and we lost our lounge, and see what they do. Or book it under your name, as a church member.

He's keen to let CCC use the church or the hall we get to use
