It's actually yo-yoing around the $30-34 mark. And yeah another person would help. I have not worked that out. But the numbers of people we are spreading the cost over seem to always keep it under $34 at worst.

This always assumes we can still get the room?

kiki - yes you've played the 'what if it were you' card but you need to also see it from the other side.

this close to geddon people should already have their accommodation sorted & have a back-up if needed. Everyone should be confirming their accomodation too~

Also if we keep accepting people then eventually we'll be squished in REALLY TIGHT and the cost will keep going up >_>

On another note, yes i do feel for her and I wouldn't want anyone to be 'left out in the cold'.
If Highlander thinks he has the space then sure. Though I'm also thinking they should pay the extra. Not everyone is made of money and can spare extra money.

TBH I'm only really supporting her because I know how she feels as at wellygeddon I had no accomodation and had to look for it the night when i needed it, however friendly cosplayers let me stay with them ^^ So I kinda understand how shes feeling, though I totally understand with the money thing too as I am pretty broke myself >>

I do want to make sure she has somewhere to say. If it's with us I am willing to pay the extra just to make sure she has somewhere she can call home.
(I did say I was fighting the other side remember -not that it was my personal views)

I'm on a really tight budget for auckland so I don't know how well I'll be able to cope if we keep getting more people >_<

If it stays under $100 for all three nights then I should be fine

I have to agree with Mandie and so does Sakura_petals (I'm at her place)
You should always have back up accommodation
I still have my back ups if this falls through (is extremely unlikely though)

If we manage to get another person to be in the room then the price will go down a little bit but not by much. Though finding another person will b hard as most people already have it all sorted

I'm sorry for being a burden on you guys, at the moment I'm looking at other possible accommodation, but I won't be able to say anything certain until a few days later.

I'll be talking to a few of my school friends at school tomorrow about their accomodation, I'll try and convince one of them to stay (if it works lol).

I know a place I can stay at in North Shore, but it'll be my first time in Auckland my myself, and I have no idea about transportation or anything. (if there's a cosplayer who stays in this area also, it'd be really helpful). >>;;
