I read that the Auckland zoo is 15 minutes away!
Does anyone else want to go??

15 years and under is $9
Students (with ID) is $14
Adults are $19
It closes at 5.30pm, so I thought we could go mid afternoon (2/3) so people who want to go shopping can do both.

@firecat I think that's 15 minutes by CAR, rather than by foot...

EDIT: Yeaaaaah. Getting to the zoo from the asb showgrounds: click here. It's a 1hr 55min walk. n_n;;;

I have been. I saw the two Chinese red pandas that were a much hyped, they had just got them. And they just lay there and slept. Not good photos you lazy pandas. Of course that was in the late eighties.

Yeah, I figured by car. But if there is enough of us we can get taxi-vans, or use the city buses.
I am pretty sure I could pass for a 15 year old (I got IDed three times within the space of 2 minutes last time I went to a R16 movie)

They have tigers! And zebras! And a dragon!
Red pandas are cute. Maybe they will be more awake this time?
