i'm just thinking that making it as obvious as possible would be the easiest thing to do.

i'm trying to think of things that would make it even more blatant who's meant to be who...
but i can't think of much, other than wearing clan tags.
which would kind of ruin the effect. ):

I do have name tags for people. Just had a thought, maybe we could have the the cosplays, cosplaying as the characters from the list above - would that be too difficult?

that's actually a really good idea.

some of the human characters might be a bit difficult - since there's no description. does the game have pictures?

but the vamp/were characters would be fun.
and the inspector and professor.

No, no pics but if you go with the character description you could just pick something to show that side (esp for the mortal characters). As for the vamps, then a cape and teeth maybe? Does this make sense? I've only gotten up a little while ago and my brain is still fuzzy from lack of sleep and too much work.

maybe not teeth for vamps, 'cause they're horrible to talk through. D:
but capes is good, and pale make up?
were characters can just wear ears and tails.
wizards have wands/hats etc.

how about types of anime??
example:

Ninja Court

Sakura-naruto is a beautiful, sweet, loyal and loving ninja. She is strong, nurturing and protective. sakura loves her family above all else.

Gennosuke-basilisk is an honourable ninja and lives to love his wife, the Queen. He is also a very strong ruler.

Kasuga- sengoku basara is a light ninja. Her and the masked tuxedo have a love/hate relationship that has endured for ages.

Inuyasha- a ninja, is a prankster. It is a very good idea to watch your back around him. He is quite jovial, and at first glance, you would think him harmless.

Fantasy Guild

Masked tuxedo is married to sailor moon, who bore him 2 sons.... ? the masked tuxedo is known to be a little shallow and self centered. Okay, maybe more than a little.

Sailor Moon is the masked tuxedo's wife. When the masked tuxedo was missing, she spent the years of the masked tuxedo's absence ruling with a fair hand and helping to change the world with her good works.

Princess Mononoke had been betrothed to some guy, but upon his death, by custom, she had to marry his brother ashitaka. Poor princess.

Ashitaka-princess mononoke is the last surviving son of the masked tuxedo and sailor moon. He is very happy to have acquired princess mononoke as his wife. He displays her like the trophy she is.

The Horror House

Alucard- hellsing is the current ruler, and they say he is now looking for a mate. Before horror characters can become true rulers, they must be mated. They, also, reach an age where they face madness if they are not mated.

Myu- elfin lied is the mortal Scion to Alucard. Through her, his powers are stronger. She has sworn her loyalty to him and his family.

Saya- blood the last vampire has her sights set on becoming the Prince’s mate. We have no doubt she will try to use the Prince’s pressing need for a mate to attain her goal.

Dante- devil may cry grew up as Alucard's best friend. That friendship ended when the Prince took myu as his Scion. It was expected that Dante and Myu would become mates. As the Prince’s Scion, Myu is denied mating.

Nyan Nyan Clan/ nekos

Taokaka- blazblue has ruled the nyan nyan Clans for ages. In recent years, people have begun to doubt her mental stability. She was once a good and kind ruler, but lately she has been making cruel demands and made decisions that have affected the nyan nyan Clans adversely. She was once worshipped as a god in kakatown

Ikuto- shugo chara has loyally served the Royal Family as Guardian and Protector.

Eruru- utawarerumono is the mother to Ikuto. We have heard that she is not too happy with taokaka and her strange and demanding behavior.

Ritsuka- Loveless started a war almost 2,000 years ago in an attempt to take over as nyan nyan Ruler. As a result, he was entombed for 1,000 years and has been slave to taokaka since his release. Bastet now treats him like a neko

The highschool Watchers

Etoile Shizuma- Strawberry panic is kind and wise beyond her years. Shizuma is overseeing the task of transcribing the Watcher’s ancient records into computers for preservation.

Takumizawa- Midori days is the full of himself professor who studies the Immortals.

Yuki Nagato- Haruhi Suzumiya She loves books and history. They say she has some magical abilities. Some whisper that her father was one of the Fantasy Clan.

Tomoya- Clannad is the young rebel watcher. He is good at his job, but he believes in living life to the fullest. Jason is a more subdued these days as his mother was one of the victims in the recent rash of murders.

Tohru Honda- Fruits Basket is the newest watcher brought in Merlin, who is in charge of recruiting new mortal watchers again. Tohru is quite the looker, but doesn’t seem terribly bright. People are saying that it is very obvious what he saw in her hurhur

Other

The Inquisitor clow reed will be here to investigate the recent Watcher Murders. These spectral beings make even the Immortal with nothing to hide very nervous. characters that die become spectral beings until their murderer dies.

all of these characters are pretty off
especially sailor moon giving birth to ashitaka and stuff
alas it is just an example though xP

i think we eventually decided that people should just cosplay the original game characters.
to make it easier on everyone.

This.

Sometimes it is fun to make up your own outfit.
And you could always add bits of other characters if you want.
But it is much easier using the characters that it has.
Otherwise you have to re-write the entire thing for it to make some sort of sense.

I think the origional characters would be very interesting.

On the anime side Miss Eevee Wolf Rain, not weres as commonly understood, but were type characters. 6, 3 M, 3 F, in contemporary clothing.

Inquisitor The catholic guy of Helsing, or Sakura one of the inquisitors off Witch Hunter Robin. In fact WHR also has witches.

There must be an arthurian anime?

No shortage of vamps, or vampire hunters (Last blood, Vampire Hunter D, Trinity Blood, etc)

i don't think Wolf's Rain characters would be recognisable enough though? and still not enough females to choose from.
since they're pretty much realistic in terms of characteristics and costumes.
