<33 Heck yes. He gets a LOT better as the series goes on. Once you've read the 12th you'll go back to the 2nd and marvel at the difference.

Their making it into a movie though you know?

I REMEMBER THAT SERIES.
Except I skipped the third set of three and went straight to the fourth set. Which promptly broke my brain. (In a timey-wimey way, not a WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED way.)

Seem to have grown out of them though. Which kind of makes me sad because it was a good series, except they're not my flavour of books anymore.
They at least get high points for vampire scariness though.

It's a really good series, I am slightly worried about the movie, as I always am with movie adaptions of books, there is also a Darren Shan Manga somewhere, I think the mangaka dropped it after 3 chapters, but I remember reading that a while ago

Apparently the movie is already made. It's just in the editing process. I'm nervous because the books were so good and Hollywood has a habit of ruining good books.

The books were first and faw outweigh the manga, if I do say so myself. Ummm... Try the library? They're by Darren Shan.

Also, I'm going to see the movie tomorrow. Apparently it's been out for a while and I didn't notice...

yer i went on skycity website and it only shows like twice a day in auckland! and it an't even out in whangarei sad I only saw the ad for it today on TV and I was like " OMG OMG I know that! I've read the manga of it! i gotta see it!" my sister goes "WTF" I run off to go and see when it's on and yeah. and yeah i'll go to the libary and read it.
