I don't really like crowds, but I still wanna experience the magnitude of an american con. *o* That's why Jen and I are gunna do the first day in normal clothes - to make it less overwhelming, hahah.

Orly? How so? D*Con because it's in the uni holidays (or should be if it's on the same weekend), and because a lot of Jen's cosplay idols attend it. She chose it, I'm sorta just like "WOO AMERICAN CON! 8D". XD

Haha fair enough. idk it gets a bad rep cos it's 18+ and cosplays are allowed to be very... skanky. Hahaha. And a lot of people have said it's not very big and exciting as far as American cons go.

@Static: don't be jealous just yet - we've not finished saving up. Razz

if all goes to PLAN we're definitely going - part of the reason of popping over was to visit some friends over there as well. :3 And yes, suitcases are free for hijacking provided you can squeeze in amongst the costumes.

As for the 18+ thing, that's only a section of the event I believe..? I know you can bring children in for free, and if the entire event were 18+ then half of the cosplayers I want to meet wouldn't have been able to go. XD As Jess has said, we need to do more research. But film festival woo!
