I too am very glad that it's not in 'Geddon season. But I must say, bitterness is the no.1 cause of cancer.

Yeah... =w= Forward thinking is fun. My only consolation is that we haven't got auckgeddon 2010 completely sussed yet, heh.

I've only really got Chchgeddon and NZ Anime Event half-sorted. Debating whether I should bother with Welly next year. Auckgeddon haven't got planned at all.

We have chch, NZAE, and Dragon*Con sketched out. We're not sure we're bothering with welly next year either - the venue's awful, so unless they change the venue it's pretty definite that we won't bother...

Yeah, having been to Chch and Welly 2 years in a row and enjoying Chch much more by comparison I'm really considering not going to Welly next year due to the fact there just isn't much difference between the two events.

Also lol, Lucy seems to go to the North Island events I don't go to and vice-versa.

@Lennon: Yeah, I've only been once to each (this year) but I definitely had a better time at chch - and HOMG WELLY VENUE. X_X I died of crowdstrike, seriously. It was actually worse than auckgeddon last year.

It was like that the year before as well. Really makes photos a tad bit difficult. I've also found that my camera gets motion blur a lot more frequently inside the con which annoys me quite a bit.

i went to welly last year and it was awful... really, far too crowded, and i got bumped into so much my costume got destroyed. so... i was glad i was behind a stall for most of the time, for once. it was raining too, which made everyone grumpier.

chchgeddon seems so much more laid back, maybe due to the amount of space you have to wander around outside and BREATHE jesus.

And the wind outside the con just made photos just as difficult to take more often than not it wouldn't work in our favour

I'll probably be coming, since I'll have used all the money to get to Chchgeddon instead of Wellygeddon. The gap gives me some time to save up again for this :3

@ jess; there's a possibility flusical will be at wellington too-- AND we're doing our magna carta group up there, and it gives me a chance to visit my big sis who lives there. C': so yeah... there's a lot of incentive, even if the con itself isn't that great. it's always the people who you spend it with that make it good or bad, anyway.

That's true yeah - I think that was the reason I enjoyed chch so much. >w< Hurrr... As I said above, my attendance of welly depends on the venue - if the venue changes then I might go, but basically unless the current venue miraculously gets bigger, I don't think I'll go. >.>

My camera takes really bad inside photos. I have an awesome one of Tammy, but it's ruined by a too high ISO. ... I'll have to manually change that D: *likes auto OTL;; *
