Re: Christchurch Cosplay Ball (UPDATE) By Lost_Angel2244. 23/06/09, 02:50 pm |
| What kind or music system are you using cuz most of them you can just plug in your ipods/mp3 if you get the cord for it which im sure some has, that way peole can just plug in there music when we want a song.
but im thinking jo bros eg, burning up, sos, hello beautiful, goodnight and goodbye, start the party caramell dansen some good dance music some hit songs at the mo, like kid of 88 - my house, katy perry, lady gaga etc some really old songs like from the 80's, 90's and such and some rock...cuz its awesome |

Re: Christchurch Cosplay Ball (UPDATE) By Highlander. 23/06/09, 03:22 pm |
| I certainly have plenty of 80 stuff and some other stuff on MP3 player and Laptop. Depends on what cords the sound system takes. MP3 to comp to mixing board I am guessing? But I would suggest Jive Bunny, not that anybody here would know it. But they do mixes of various styles of dance songs, eg. swing, rock'n'roll, 80's. But it also has older stuff like the charleston, etc. Which I only have on tape, but we could figure that out too. |

| I can write out a list of what I have on my ipod if you'd like. I have quite a few classic songs (ie B*Witched, Best of the 90s, Westlife, 5ive, Power Ballads II, Ronan, S Club, Steps) plus lots of cartoon/disney. |

We could all do that? That way we'll know you have a good version of the song XD Because I don't think you're going to want to listen to EVERY song you download to see if it's the right one and not all jumpy or spamy or anything. <.< I remembered! Get some culture club too ^^ Cause everyone loves them so. -Wiing |

| I just realised that the intro for "Dance Magic Dance" a two/multi part prose, or what the church would call a question and response type thing. That means we can get everybody involved in the song, only for like the first 30 seconds. Even better if we have the prince of goblins there. Even better if I can powerpoint to a projector, otherwise we just give everybody a lyric sheet at the door. Or if not at the ball I think we gotta do this sometime. |

| It is, some people just get carried away. Girls won't singstar be better at the MWCCP, or a future retro night? I mean I just thought the we could warm people up, break things up a little bit and get some audience participation during the DMD intro, then back to dancing like goblins. |

| Why is dancing in a dress any different? I dance in a long tunic, down to my knees, (cause highlanders don't wear trousers,) and it's no different than trousers. And both look awesome. Which one do you like? |
