The ball on sunday night of Auckgedon sounds so awesome, Basically i was wondering, what are you going as? like what will you wear? i was thinking of doing songstress yuna, but I'm not sure if it's formal enough...?

Songstress Yuna looks like it may not be formal enough for a ball, but since it's a performance costume...
It's one of those borderline outfits, tbh.
Would you wear it to a school ball, or a formal event? (:

Songstress Yuna is not likely something to wear on a formal occasion.
But, then again, is a cosplay ball a formal occasion?
As for me, I still haven't decided if I'm going or who I'd cosplay if I did . . .

Aren't balls thought to be formal events anyhow?

I think Songstress Yuna is far too skimpy to be worn to a formal event. ;; But that's just me. I come from a conservative country, idk. >>;

It is pretty skimpy but i really like it Eh~

edit: that guide says Tifa's Blue dress from ff7 is acceptible, and it shows off around the same about of stuff as this outfit~ you know, the one that she wears in that don's "Mansion"

I'm probably rewearing my Dormouse from ACB, not sure that it's too formal. Poofy pants and half a top but with a mask it should be formal ish.
Yea I would say her Songstress isn't the most formal, you could do white mage and prolly get away with it.

Tifa's is more of a cocktail dress, cocktail dresses are sometimes pretty acceptable ball-type dresses XD

If this was for ACB's masked ball I think they'd be more lenient with the formality of your dress but since it's the Geddon masquerade ball, I'd probably try to play it a little safer tbh. ;;

But ultimately, it's up to you to choose whether to do it or not (: the rest of us can only offer our opinions ^_^

I don't know, I don't think a mid-riff baring top and a miniskirt could count as a ball-esque outfit ^^;

ETA: Mikuru's Lolita outfit may be okay for ACB, but idk for the masquerade ball-- some balls don't approve of lolita outfits, but you could try your luck :3

Crappy internet is crap, even CNZ is slow to load, let alone ebay.
Okay, going from memory, I suppose Mikuru's lolita outfit should be okay, as long as the skirt's not as short as it was in the series. I'd recommend getting a longer skirt, probably something that covers three quarters of your thighs?

Is this the auckland girls grammar ball which is in that place??? I'm going to that afterball :O I was invited to this ball but I only had enough money for either the afterball or the ball... mmh. If theres going to be cosplay going on in teh ball I might change thee decisions :O
