Ashburton Christmas Party 2009 (December 12)

Hey people. Mui here, A3 have decided to hold a Christmas gathering down here this Christmas. Here's what I've sorted out so far.

In charge of Music is Alucard_nz (or John): We're still working on this. You people can PM me or post here what music you want to hear and I'll look into getting it done.

In charge of Food is magic_trick (Brandon): There will be cake. (More to come)

In charge of Entertainment is Wookster (Sam) and Saiyajin Mui (myself): We're working out some speakers, TVs, consoles, things of the sort.

Overall the evening will be run by John and myself. We probably need some help decorating and suggestions for party games and things like that. Feel free to PM me here, or catch me on my phone when I get back home from Australia. We're open to suggestions on making this evening an enjoyable one for all.

You can contact me via PM or email. If you're after my cell no. I'll PM it. It can also be found on the A3 cards John and I hand out.

Here's what we have planned so far:

Upstairs and downstairs have been booked so we can have some huge games in the Basketball Court downstairs.

There will be a picnic (weather permitting), Picnic will be on Sunday.

There will be a Christmas tree with an interesting surprise.

~~There will be another surprise, we just need to confirm it.~~ Surprise confirmed.

Pin the tail on Dr Manhattan got vetoed

There's gonna be a general quiz as well. A number of them are anime related but there may be some other topics covered.

Quiz is about 100 questions. There will be a prize, just gotta figure out what it is.

Sleepover is now confirmed. Just need to get the arrangements sorted.

I'll let the gaming and anime viewing happen. But probably after the party games and main socializing I guess.

Alrighty, now here's for the important stuff.

Address: Tancred Street. (If you find New World.... Go behind it.)
Start Time: Saturday 12 December 6pm
End Time: Sunday 13 December 12 noon~ish.
What to bring: Bedding, blankets, pillows, $5 for Sunday's picnic (only if you will be around for Sunday). If someone can supply airbeds, that would be really nice.

I'm bringing a car, but I think I have already been fully booked with people already asking for lifts in person, so I am no help on the carpooling/lift front.

This is true, but you were actually at the A3 meeting last night. It was sort of hard for me to.... You know... Show up.
