I'm playing FFX. >_____> Stupid Jecht. I can't get past him. He keeps smiting me. D< D< But my cousin will hopefully be coming round this weekend to play on her save to show me the ending, and bring X-2 with her so I can play and finish that before AuckGeddon so I don't get spoiled by the FFX/X-2 group. ^-^ /Takes a breath.

Replaying FFX myself and want to go fight Jecht, but I'm kinda keen to go back and fight the Dark Aeons. I need armor with HP break. X3

Perhaps I should just do it the cheap way and pay off Yojimbo....

I had the same problem, but something that really helps is to make your aeons have full Limit Break, or whatever it's called (haven't played it in a while), and just unleash them one after another. If you do it well you might just get him. 8D Even better is to use Yojimbo (if you've got him) and pay him somewhere around 250000 and then he'll use Zanmoto (if you're lucky. You may have to try this a couple of times). Zanmoto is insta' kill, is case you didn't know.

Quite possibly. xD I didn't think it was that great at first, but the ending just made the whole game really. It's difficult to pick a favourite game because they were all so good. xD

You don't need HP Break, trust me I beat all dark aeons+penance with 9999hp Very Happy

xDD Yojimbo does Zanmoto nearly every time I use him on regular monsters. He's nice like that. xDD

xD Tbh, I don't actually use Yuna. She's useless and I don't like her. XD But like I just wrote, Yojimbo does Zanmoto on regular monsters nearly every time, but when I go up against Dark Bahamut(I punish myself for not knowing about the Sun Crest before I left Yunalesca's place -___-), all he uses is Wabashi(or wtfever it is). /Frowns
Attempting to get Auron's ultimate weapon, but it takes so long and stuff.
I'll just get my cousin round in the weekend and get her to play her game's ending so I can see, and then help me speed play FFX-2. We have Friday night til Saturday night. XD We can do it!!!

My Tidus and Auron are killing machines, tho. They both hit so heavily and so quickly it's amazing. XD Lulu is just there for backup and a little bit of healing every now and then. <3

Yuna with Black Mage is ten times more powerful than Lulu. Lulu only does about maybe 1000 hp hits with level3 magic, and Yuna with Black Magic can do about 3500/ 4500 hp each monster. <:

Lulu's strength, for me, depends what the monster is. Usually she does around 8-9,000 damage each time, but against Jecht, Ultima only does 2,000. >/ But it'll be fine. xD;

I think Jecht is more weak against holy more than ultima, which is weird because in other FF's ultima's slaughter the final bosses. xD'; With Jecht I just let Tidus and Auron attack, trade one of them with Wakka, and let Yuna summon/ cast magic. And use some money to Yojimbo xD I left Lulu alone, because I thought she was mean to everybody back in the day ( '04 ).

i cant remember what i did for jecht but i rember it was over fast cause i had gone through the dark aeons and penance before finishing the game itself

Yuna? Useless? XD Holy is an amazing attack - not to mention when you get and fully equip Nirvana to make it break the damage limit and only cost 1MP - asides a few bonus monster fights, she's like a killing machine!
