CNZ Dancing Flashmob!

well, we all know our grand freezes, right? but what if they evolved, grew bigger? were cooler?

INTRIGUED? firstly, watch this. it'll give you some idea of what we're aiming to achieve (on a smaller level.)

i've never been to the ASB showgrounds, but i'm assuming there's some sort of open space outside it that we'll be able to do this in at some (unpredetermined as of right now) point of time.

BASICALLY, we're going to get a short (3-4 minute) techno song- any suggestions are welcome, as i don't think sound of music is really fitting for this- and a small looped dance is going to be choreographed for it and uploaded to youtube.

it'll be just like the above video- a couple of people start it off, and then the onlookers start joining in etc etc. so the more people involved in this, the more awesome it'll be!
i was thinking, the most effective time (when the most people are watching) would be sometime when they're in line- but i don't think that people would be very keen to leave their places in line to join in etc.

it'd also be v. effective if we got some non-cosplayers on the day to join in with us- just to make it look more spontaneous- so ask your friends if they're keen to help out. C:

AS FOR NOISE, does anyone want to lend their car speakers, if they have decent ones (if there's a carpark nearby)? at wellington last year, we danced to music coming from someone's back car speakers and it was pretty goddamn loud.

i also have a dance (sort-of) already choreographed for the s club 7 thing too because of a uni event, & it's really easy. 8D

the thing is, we need a simple loop + a chorus that has BIG movements with arms & body to catch attention... big movements are more effective in groups.
