2009 One Piece Group (Sunday)

Agh, I just TYPED this whole thing up and lost it to the jaws of the forums. Great...so let's try this again.

Not sure of the interest, but we had tons of fun with our One Piece group at Wellygeddon. See here for some of the silly.

We're looking at having another group up at Auckland Armageddon. We have a (very small) percentage of the Straw Hats for Sunday, but would like to invite anyone else who's still looking for costume ideas or maybe a group who would like to join us.

Straw Hat isn't necessary. We will accept any One Piece character (it is a huge cast, after all). On the plus side, many of the costumes are fairly simple - most of all at the start of the series.

So far we have:

Luffy - Aura
Usopp - Jess (not on the boards)
Sanji - iwuvanime
Chopper - Keysha

We'll also try to locate our old Straw Hat flag (looks Abby's way) and perhaps get a group photo with Franky's English VA, maybe? :3

I couldn't find a good picture of them all in their default clothes, but at least this one has all the current crew so far (plus, I think it's funky). :B

Well I have not decided if I am coming to Auckgeddon, But I am planing to make a Roronoa Zoro costume. If only I could actually find a wig that would still look full with a number 12? cut?

www.animegalleries.net has a reasonable selection of characters, may or may not have all you want.

It would be cool if you could make it. :3 We've sadly just lost our Usopp (she had to come from Florida and can't make it until Welly Armageddon next year) but the rest of us are still gonna be kicking-it Pirate style if you do come and want to join us. Zoro was the one missing from our crew in Wellington, so we'd love to have you if you can come and want to do it. ^_^
