Progress thread

Progress:

King Vegeta Commission: My cat is sleeping on the padding I bought... And he just squeaked when he yawned so I can't do anything. D: I also bought fabric and a zip... And I've made a frame with garden wire... And I've made three tails. Not that King Vegeta needs three tails, I just didn't want to waste fabric.

Bulma: Urr... I have pattern pieces cut out? I'll start sewing it tomorrow. Wig is ordered but I have no idea when that is coming in. Hopefully soon.

Queen of Hearts: I have a mask, and I have wire and I have beads. I shall obtain lace and glitter paint at some point for the mask. I also have a dowel rod which I plan on making a sceptre out of. Eventually.

Hopefully it will come soon. My photography internal will gain + OVER NINE THOUSAND awesome points if it has someone wearing a blue wig in it. *shot for bad reference*

& Detangling a wig = DX
I finally got round to detangling my Nanashi wig the other day >_> It took about two hours orz. BUT NOW ITS SMOOTH AND SHINY AGAIN 8D

I started making a corset mock up.
I'm not using a pattern... I've never made a corset before...
This is for ACB.
I'm screwed.
MAYBE I SHOULD GO BUY A PATTERN...
BUT SO FAR IT'S NOT LOOKING THAT BAD, ACTUALLY.

It's made out of an old sheet too. 8D

OHRIGHT.

Updates:

King Vegeta: Frame + Padding = Complete. I just need to sew the fabric on it now plus install the zip and make a cape.

Amulet also needs to be done...

DUE IN A WEEK. /cries

Bulma: Completely complete. Wig arrived, IT IS AWESOME and I love it. I made the scarf and the dress is hemmed and finished.

I'd do the boots, but I don't really want to because I have neither money or time.

@Duckeh: The lighting makes the gold look green and shows the glue...so it would have looked crappy anyway...and I love being vague/evil...lol

I also have pictures to share - beading on the sleeves of my evil queenface McWickedknickers is about half done. I've finished the main motif on the back of the cuffs, just need to add a little more minor detail up the rest of the sleeve.

Crappy pics are crappy, sorry...laptop + no overhead lighting = grrr. The fabric is black vinyl, and the beads are pewter, black and that weird irridescent black/purple/green/gold which looks a little bit like an oil spill. The centre thing is a jewelery spacer what looked pretty Very Happy
