lol. Okay, well I might do the bustle and stuff then 'cuz i'd like to keep it. You want to sort out jewellry and gloves/stockings? I suggest a garter belt and thigh-highs, then we can be stocking buddies!

Trademe usually, but the Bendon shop on lambton has some relaly nice ones for about $25 at the moment. Stockings you can find anywhere, but I can loan you some no worries - I haz lots! Also a couple of garter belts, so I can definitely loa you that too - they are handy to have though.

Hah. Today I finished my meiko top, my meiko gloves, and half-finished my Queenbetch corset and upper-dress - I am a productive chicken!

I semi finished the Head-dress for my Super Secret Awesome Cosplay...and got beads for it...only 22 of them so I need a "few" more ROTFLAEL

OHYUS. I forgot about this thread.

Anyway. I have made progress on my commission work. I have made gloves (handsewn, took me a whole day EACH) and boots (ALSO a whole day each).

My fingers are still bleeding. Handsewing rubber is painful.

I do have a front view, but there's a bit of a lack of pants - the skirt opens at the front and wouldn't fit over jeans. So I'm not gonna put that one up. Starting to design the beadwork for the sleeves now, and waiting on patterns for the skirt and bustle. And petticoats, all of them, in the world, ever.

Actually, not that bad - it's a bastard to topstitch, but my machine handles it quite well...it's backed with a poly knit, so doing the main seams was fine. Very Happy

I had a lot more trouble with vinyl when I used it a few years ago, I think if you're used to doing funny things with fiddly fabrics it's not so bad. I liked this better than the organza I used on a balldress a few years ago, that's for sure!

Uh, so far I've planned out Every. Single. Aspect. And I went out window-shopping at spotlight and found several good candidates for Yue's coat. Two way stretch drill FTW 8D I also doodled a pattern... but dunno if it'd work or not xD

That blue dress your going to use as a pattern is so cute whee

For the boots you could stick some kind of (non fraying) fabric on with doubled sided tape or that kind of glue that is all tacky and comes off easily (they use it to stick free stuff onto magazines)

haha you know your stufff. I was actually looking for some d gray-man boots but I ended up getting those. I'm a bit impulsive that way.
Ooooh, I saw these teskan boots at no1 as well and they looked exactly like sakura's goggle outfit, only that it was brown. It's ashame it doesnt come in white or else I would've gotten it in a heart beat.
