I was gonna suggest that game orienteering (I think I put that idea up on the other forum anyway)
So yeah close enough. I back this idea up!!!!!

Uh arnt they the same thing just one has a better name then the other? but i remember once my class did that and ppl were hideing the things away ;.; ok so i did it once XD

orienteering is lame, 'coz all you get is little letters. Treasure hunts are COOL though, 'coz then you get TREASURE. :B It'd be awesome, but you'd have to scope out the place first, and figure out where the clues should go.

hay its not that lame well then again I only remember playing it once and the teachers dressed up at the points to try and scare us. Now that was fun. Also we got lost and ended up near bee hives and it was like the classic stuck in the desert type scene no sign of civilisation, hot, no water, bees, no idea where we were or where we were going... yeap... good times.

good point though how are we gonna protect the precious treasure oO
unless its either really well hidden or in a quiet area away from public, or all the stuff is hidden within the organisers viewpoints (like we wanna be watching one bush all day though...)

What we do at work, when we do a treaure hunt, is we put out clues - one clue leads to the next. During the hunt, the kids will be given a secret password, and once they finish the hunt, they have to come back to the front counter and tell us the password - then we give them their prize. o_O

LOL. Whitcoulls Botany Downs on friday nights and Sundays. XP I can't guarantee we'll have candy, but you can stalk me, or you can ask someone for Jess W (the W is important, as there are two Jess's), and then be all like "Guess who I am!?" and then I'll be like "Ionno? Well we could do JVCA's secret password thing. So basically we'd just be hiding a peice of paper... if any member of the public sees it all they'll see is some random word on it.

well it should only take a day to wright al the clues out and it dosnt matter if there all on the same base just as long as ppl can tell them apart...

I should have every thing done th day b4 the picnic so it should be ok

Haha I can imagine it.....An innocent family at the park enjoying a meal when a random guy dressed as Vincent Valentine comes up to them, rips away their picnic blanket and starts digging where they were eating and throws the dirt from the ground in their food. its just gonna be a normal treasure hunt, with normal prizes but its gonna be mega awesome-ness with a little fun in there 2 XD.

I shall have great fun setting it all up also ^^ im taking all those posts as a yes i can do a treasure hunt X3
