[where to find] wigs?

I'm trying to find a place to get a pair of wigs before the cosplay picnic.
I'm looking for reasonable price, nothing too overboard.
I need a short black wig, and a really long blonde-white wig.
They're for the characters Ritsuka and Soubi from Loveless, so that should give you an idea of what they should look like.
If anyone knows where to get them, or has them and would be interested in selling, or merely lending them to me, I'd be thankful.

Have been looking on TradeMe with no success for the particular wigs we need.
EBay we tried, and they were either really pricey -100 USD +- or the fact I can't use Paypal.

Jeez, they shouldn't have been THAT expensive on Ebay. o_o I usually get mine off there for $50ish NZ, but if you can't use Paypal then the point's moot. whee

Try looking around some Emporiums - they won't be great quality, but it's a start, and you can always sew multiple wigs together to achieve the look you want. Emporiums I know of are Geoff's Emporium - Dominion Road, Mount Eden-ish - and Arthur's Emporium in Manukau, opposite Spotlight in the super centre. There's also Mr Thank You in Sylvia Park by the Warehouse.

I thiiiiink there's a shop in town as well that's got them at a nicer quality, but no idea where sorry.

Also, remember that no wig will be perfect without SOME styling to it. If you post some ref pics, I'll do some scouting round for you. :)

Just did a quick Trade-Me scout, will look out in the Emporiums next time I pop in. (Probably in the nearish future, knowing me. o_o)

Righty-ho - for the taller character with the blue shirt, this one looks pretty good:

You'd need to change the part, but it looks about the right colour. If not, you can dull it down with watered-down acrylic paint/ink.

For the shorter character, these one's look ideal with a bit of razoring & attacking with thinning scissors:

those are some options - with a bit of work, I imagine they'd turn out fine. Check out the emporiums though.

We only need the black wig now, and kitty ears x.x
We just brought a blonde wig from the lovely Fleyer.
