[MWCCB] What about a mid-winter Christmas Party?

Just remember if we're advertising we need to get final numbers by like April or so so I can book a place, I know it seems early, but I am not arranging anything last minute b/c 25 more people wanna come.

I believe Seong would have no problem with us advertising there ... I've advertised the anime club there before ... just to make some posters up ... the earlier you start advertising the better since you need the approxiamate numbers

I'm not sure when the high/middle school holidays are but midsemester holidays for me would be around june/july XD

EDIT: come to think of it ... I might not come as I haven't got any time to make another cosplay ... we'll see by the time I get back ... but I'd love to help organize/advertise/help in any way possible

If you're part of this club, but can't make another costume, don't worry, we're here to have fun, and if you want, just wear what ever cosplay you have! ^.^
Just an update, I've sent out e-mails to about 6 schools in the city area, as schools would be cheaper, but only one get back to ma and said no lol
I was wondering what everyone would think if we maybe moved out of the city, my husband works at Henderson High so we may be able to rent their hall fairly cheap. Let me know what you think ^.^

WHOA first of ... henderson high is far lol ... its like 4 stages from the city and the buses ... mmm theyre ok i guess in terms of frequency and theres always the train ... but yeah XD depends how easy it is to get there from the henderson town centre (ie henderson westfield)

but yeah a school would be cheaper =D

basically what happens is that everyone puts what they want in the hotpot in a dark room and after it finished boiling EVERYONE must eat it or forfeit XD ir batsu geimu XD

I'm trying to get a school in the city, but it's a little difficult, about 5 schools that are really close all said that they are all booked up for the june/july holidays. I found this place called the Gin Room on Vucan lane, but It's also a bar so they may not let minors in, I'll call them, it's really pretty, but it may be expensive. (www.queensferryhotel.co.nz)

@ Valska: i think that bar would be an ideal setting thanks to the decor ... its kind of victorianesque XD ... but yes there is a high probability that they wouldnt let the minors in (which is i think alot of this group XD) and it is most likely expensive XP

Ok, So after inspecting said bar and it's location it is not suitable, there's no parking and it's way crowded, especially on a Sat night.. As for Henderson High, it's very accessable, the train staion is just a short walk away. And remember, no matter where we have this thing it's going to be far for somone...

the last train from Henderson to Newmarket is 11:30, so maybe end about 11 or so, but it jsut depends on when everyone wants to leave and what the school would be ok with.

it'll be better to end it about 9.30pm/10.00pm ish unless we can arrange transport for others too young to drive XD since they also need time to catch the last bus to where ever they live
