Okay we're making progress, we've found a scout hall that is very close to the actual carnival, we've just got to finalize a few things.
So for now, what we need to know is how many of you think you can make it and how many can actually confirm.

Ok, it occurs to me that I REALLY need to post this request up here since I've come to the conclusion that I won't be able to contact anyone in Christchurch when I'm in Christchurch due to no one seeming to care to check cellphones.

So what exactly is the plan in terms of transport to SCCC from Chch? I ask this because I have NO method of transport to the venue from Chch and I am very limited in terms of getting in touch with everyone here due to no internet at home, I have to actually use net cafes in order to access the net. Basically if I get no info, I can't come because I'm just left out of the loop due to unfortunate circumstance.

I was kinda assuming you'd be coming with us ^^
we're looking into hiring a van but we're gonna need everyone to confirm.

At the moment price for the whole event is looking at
$10 for hall
(around) $20-$25 for transport - this has to be checked which I'm looking into
+$ moneys for food (dinner/break/lunch) and rides etc

Yeah, I'd need to know when and where to meet up for the van pick up then. Also remember to bring your Hibari jacket and armband since I'm needing those for SCCC.

My +1 friend can be put down as confirmed. Also she has her full license and will be able to take 1 or maybe 2 (tight fit) more people. But she has work on the 3rd so we'll be coming down later that day.
