What I was thinking for the music is that I compile the list and give it to you. You get as much of it as possible from your collection, and between the rest of us we rustle up the rest of them. Then you, in whatever format you think is best, bring them to the Ball. Does that make sense?

And yes, there will be door sales. But as a security measure we were thinking that it will be limited to people who show up with someone who has a ticket, or who is otherwise known to the group. Thats why the posters up around town don't have the location, to avoid gatecrashers Smile

. But if you bring your cousin along on the night, we'll totally sell them a ticket.

But don't any of you RELY on door sales if you know you're coming because if there are not enough pre-sales we wont be able to go ahead!

There isn't a stage at this Hall, sorry. But MC'ing is all good! I don't have a projector, but we will likely have a laptop and sheets if we are able to rustle one up, but it wont be from my family (it's one of the few appliances we don't have Very Happy

).

Hmmm..... Well, at my Primary school they had these sort of... not quite boxes, but these lightweight movable wooden 'platform' things is how I'd best describe them. Could we procure something similar? It'd just make things easier xD;

For music? I might ask my Dad if we can bring the iBook actually, just so it's easier for me to work with. I'm fast with non-Macs, but twice as fast on a Mac. :)

I live in Auckland, but my mum was thinking about a holiday so I thought it would be a great oppourtunity to come down to Wellington and attend the ball.

Lawl, I love it when a parent wants to go on holiday, and you mention some sort event happening in that place, and so that parent decides to go down at the time of that event. (Like CHCHgeddon for me xDDD).

Question/s for JP and/or u_ne_korn, would ticket sales at the door cost slightly more? I mean the sales are needed for things for the ball and getting them on the night doesn't help that does it? But left over money would be kept for future event/s to occur correct?

Also it would give a little motivation to those who haven't gotten around to getting their tickets yet.

We had a chat about this at the meeting today (FIVE MORE TICKET SALES!) and we decided YES - we are going to up the price for Door Sales. $30. So buy your ticket early and save! We need the money early to pay for everything!

As for leftover $$$ - the plan at the moment is to pay back miscellaneous things that snuck in, like any driving JP does on the night, and if Sylvie owns up to the cost of the tickets and for the printing of posters and things, and then the rest will go somewhere safe for the next event. "Somewhere safe" in this instance being JP's bank account.

lmao, me laughing evilly. don't know what you're talking about. Razz

Sidenote: It's actually a separate account tied to my main one. No fees cause of my main account, but somewhere 'separate' from my main account for the money to sit. I set it up when we did CCPC earlier this year. :)
