Yeah they always get advertised at Music Festivals and things were there is only one portaloo per 1000 people and so girls learn to pee standing up Very Happy

Oh, those little pills...I hate them so bad, despite the fact that they fixed nearly all my problems. I am so, SO bad at remembering to take them! Stupid uterus and your temperamental nature...bah!

Ohhh. We had a talk about that last term.

I think I am semi-normal. Hopefully. Haha. My period lasts about five days. And I think is in a normal pattern at last. I don't pay attention, but my friend brings it up and she can tell (sad, innit?).

Wow I didn't think anyone actually used them, I've been making fun of them for about 5 months now and always wondered about how hygienic they were, good to hear the cups are actually useful.

Yeah the Pill made my cramps reduce from "I'm going home to feel ill and lie with a hottie on my stomach" to nothing worse than eating too much at dinner. That was pretty awesome.

Yeah, mine used to be really bad - like, can't stand up because this hurts too much/feeling like I'm going to vomit/so sore that it makes my back hurt as well as my front/having to postphone date with new boyfriend who I'm really interested in and was looking forward to seeing because it hurts too much bad (that was long winded) - when I first went on the pill the cramps stopped almost completely, which was freakin' awesome - that was on microgynon. I recently switched to a different one though, and now I get cramps on the first day which are sometimes almost as bad as they used to be, but still not quite - and generally some nurofen does the trick, where with my old cramps painkillers didn't do anything. :c

See now be careful about gloating. When I was 15 I didnt get much pains either, but as I got older they steadily got worse and worse. Which SUCKED.

But srs. My pain tolerance... It takes until something is broken for me to feel it. I only get a small earache AFTER my ear drum has popped (that's happened about 3 times so far), my bones can be millimetres away from breaking and I will only notice just before it starts creaking/threatening loudly that its going to snap.

i've tried two kinds of pills and the pain for me is still so dehabilitating i had to go into the hospital once.
severe dysmenorrhea is not fun.

I get pain... before it comes. About two or three days before...

It's a little strange, but at least I'm never caught unawares.

Oh man, I so hate being caught aware as well. That's one of the best things about being on the pill, actually - I always know I'm gunna get my period around Midday on Monday. XD

@Lucy: :c Oh jeez! You have my sympathy... I think Val has something similar, though not quite so extreme - hers are so bad that she has to tricycle her periods (ie, skip the sugar pills so she only gets it once every three months).

last year when i was in yr 12 phys, the teacher was doing a demonstration of ac/dc current and i was in so much pain i just. fainted in the middle of class and conked out on a table. D|

Ooh, I really like the sound of this!
I'm like, one of those people who is notoriously BAD for changing at a decent time.. and I don't like the feeling of wearing a pad.
The only thing for me that would be weird would be the 'insertion'. Because.. it looks a helluva lot bigger than a tampon.
(Nother question. Who's tried those, like.. winged tampons? WTF?)
