Zabuza/Suigetsu Sword

I'm intending to do a Suigetsu cosplay, so I want a Zabuza sword.

But I have no idea how to go about it.
It needs to be cheap, light, easy(ish)and quick to make (I dont have much time or skills) and preferably allowed to go into a convention.

Any pointers/hints/tips/ideas/jokes?

I'm gonna try get a basic costume together before Halloween, for H!CCP, which i hope to go to.

But I might wear it on the sunday of CHCHgeddon next year, if i dont have anything better by then.

And I'll wear it to random CCC meetings.

Well... I could be really good and try to bribe my parents to let me go to Wellygeddon....

Uh... I know you can make one out of cardboard and hotglue? There's a tutorial here which seems quite popular.
It's probably better than cardboard and lots of tape for the shape you're wanting.
