Plaster.

Plaster, the strip kind you put on your face and make masks out of. I just want any hints and tips anyone can offer. (mehopes some peoples here know what to do.)

Bought it already, am away for the weekend and shall do it once I get back to Dunedin. Using my own face, and have a semi-experienced person to help plaster the base on.

It says to leave on my face for 15 mins then take off and leave to dry. Once it is off my face, can I put more on it and mould it's features to the way I want? (I'd rather do it myself than have the person who is making the base do it on my face, I just don't trust others.)

Um... are you trying to make a mask with the plaster strips or a mould so you can make lots of masks?

Because I don't actually recommend using that stuff for the actual mask. Much better to make a mould of your face, make a cast from that and then use clay on top of that cast to make your mask.

But... plaster on plaster does work, so it should be fine to add to it when it's dry.
I hope you still need this information... but if not, next time or someone else might need this, right?
