Seriously.... what would I make that out of?

I haven't decided that I'm going to cosplay as Luso but if I do then I'll need to know so... yeah, suggestions?

Does look kinda see through. Possibly a frame with clear plastic (forgotten what they call it) over it? Not glad wrap, but the proper clear stuff they use for packing in gift baskets and that kinda stuff.

Would still be prone to damage, but would have the clear look and be light as hell.

Hmmm... Jess suggested clear acrylic but said it wouldn't be very kind on the handle.

Yeah, that's the word I was looking for. Razz But yeah, some malleable clear plastic sheeting would be the only way I can see of semi-easily doing it.
