That in January 2004. I was one of the very first in the North island to buy that game? Very Happy

!

My mum hated it when i played in the lounge because it was creeepy. Especially at the end ;).

If you get to the end, bring about 10k baby bottles ;)

Cool game, but it was kinda slow and alot of the characters didnt really impact the gameplay but they did help the story.

Saw some pictures of it in a old Playstation magazine and it looked quite cool, however think that that writters of the magazine gave it a piss-poor review..

was going to hire it out, but it always rented out by somebody else so never got the chance and then it just slipped the mind..

don't even know if it was worth the skip or not...

Game play is like Dynasty Warriors. Except you're all alone.
But you can ride a dragon or a jet plane :)

The story is awesome :) like a cross with Dragon heart and Final Fantasy 7 and 10.

What are the main characters like ?

Are they typical Square-Enix type of character, or a little different ?..

Lol they are kinda different.
Of course we have the best friends, one who has a normal power the other with dark power and a princess to save.

The Hero is a soldier who was bleeding to death. But he met a dragon who was willing to combind hearts so they can live. But the hero hates dragons because they eatted his family.

But he had no choice.
Since Humans dont have mana, they have to sacrifice one of their body parts.
The Hero gave up his voice :) (Think of a very quite Cloud who doesnt make any sounds what so ever) and a tattoo is marked on his tounge to show it.

Then theres the noble knight who gave up his eye sight to a fairy. Tattooed on his eyes.

A mentally insane lady who gave up her womb to Fire and Ice spirits(Shes so insane she'll make Sephiroth look like a school girl) Tattooed on her abdomen

And an Orphan boy who is like, Harry from shortland street haha. He gave up his age to a Golem(He never ever ages and hes like 800 years old) and he's the strongest character you get. Tattooed all over his body.

Forgot to mention the dragon, a 10,000 year old ~~B**ch~~ who makes fun of humans.
Her body changes everytime you level up and she gets really cool looking :).

There are 5 endings if i remember right. 3 VERY VERY BAD ones. 1 semi nice and the other is the proper ending.

It all depends on what you do and how you do stuff really.
You'll like the insane lady :) plus shes kinda hott for a mental chick.

Don't know, don't really like insane characters unless they are mistunderstood or well male...

Five Endings is pretty good, but are they hard to get ? Don't have the strength anymore to kind of perform diffcult tasks or lengthy missions... sweatdrop

Only the proper one is hard to get. But the bad 3.....are really, really, REAAAALLY Disturbing.

I have Drakengard, its up for sale if anyone wants it 8D I bought it out of curiosity thinking it would be like other awesome Square Enix games, I didnt particularly enjoy it much... so its up for sale now, and Shadow Hearts Covenant.

Depends on how much I can fetch for Shadow Hearts, im trying to clear out my library of games. If I can get 100 dollars + for the games I sell, Im probably going to get a SNES or a Genesis.

Anyway, yeah Drakengard didn't feel very good to me. I enjoyed Kingdom Hearts because it was fast paced but Drakengard was kinda slow.
