Its funny. you go to a con for 4 days and you still don't see everything.
Didn't see some of these costumes. Also missed the knights fighting.

Slowly getting things up. Just raws for now. Some of the really nice (read in-focus) i will sit down and edit.
Took me ages to find the public permission exception in FB Mad

Must buy a new camera next year then can cope with lowlight convention conditions. I tend to take more video because of this.

I didn't get too many photos since I had gloves for both my cosplays and it was a hassle taking them off and putting them back on to take pictures with my iphone XD

Wondering if anyone has a video of my skit (Nia from Gurren Lagann) that I can upload to my youtube account? I can credit your name or link you or something? Our recording of mine is not useable so =[

If that was in the Monday cup? I recorded the whole thing. Quality should be watchable, i diden't really make an effort to get a great seat sorry. Its in HD so its i rather a slow processes uploading. current putting up each 1.8gb file a night in my free off-peak data.

Thank you! I will watch it when it's up and see ^_^ Ours is zoomed in and I go out of frame a lot because he was focused on taking photos not video. So I just want one that I can upload haha.

Suixelo: My skydrive should allow you to download the video (in HD). I caught it from front row center, ie. behind the speaker. But it will be watchable. If you want a good one then I think Hide took some?

Eternal Outsider: Sounds like your files are in taken from a camera in MJPEG format. (As opposed to a DV video recorder which will record in a video format.) The MJPEG file may be inside a .Mov or .Avi format? I have had both in the past. Try using a video converter which can handle those formats, to convert it to an HD H.264, .avi, .wmv or .mp4 format at 1/5 the size. Then upload.

^ Yip, i could talk all day about video compression and format containers. LOL

I'm running on quite old equipment (P4) so mjpeg it best for me at the moment.

I could compress it on my end first, but i woulden't save any time in the long run. Easer to let google proses it on their servers. Wink

I've just finished going though it and making the odd edit.
God YT's video editor is painfully basic. Premiere had some issue with the audio in one file, so i just used YT's rather than de-muxeing it and other fafery.

Check back tomorrow for a link.

I think uploading them to Youtube is going to work for everyone. However it will be nice to have them on the skydrive with the photos in one place. But apparently it requires me to upload in a a compatible format, and for you to have MS silverlight. You probably should have or get it, as more browser stuff is being done in silverlight, but not everyone will have it. You can download the video though. But I will replace it with one which streams online.

OMG Seriously? LOL Hope I didnt creep you out to much when I grabbed you for a pic. I was the guy doing all the pics for the Star Wars group. Gotta say tho, your outfit just made that weekend for me. I've been an X Men fan for 20 years or so now, and Kitty's been one of my top 3 X-Females ever, so to see her done that well.... well, it was something of a nerd mark moment for me. Laughing
