All cosplay all day Stage Three!

Hi all :) As per the Tumblr we have an entire room for the entire event which is now relabeled Stage Three :)

The masterclass series went so well as did various impromptu talks at different times that Bill and Adele are willing to have a dedicated stage just for us :)

So what are the plans?

At this stage:

Saturday:
Panels and demos from cosplayers and (hopefully) industry/tertiary folk and some time before and after for photo shoots! (Aiming to cover FX and props and sewing and possibly old school techniques that could be revived)

Sunday
Meet and greets for different interest groups (historic to Sci-fi etc.) and the cosplay Games. And moar photos!

Monday
Cosplay contest (and thus prop check for contestants and the opportunity to do a proper formal parade from Stage Three down to the Main Stage as well as group photos.

Sp I'd love to hear if you can think of any groups that might like to have a chance to introduce themselves and what they do :) Also the schedule only has a few locked in place events that cannot change (contest and games, and we don't want to compete with the Parade!)

I have access to the Cosplayer Nation documentary that is being released in August. I can also find out if we can get the My other me documentary. We could introduce historical reenacting? We are trying to organise the historical encampment now. They may also have expert leather workers or armourers or ??? that we could use. Although they may be a bit thin on the ground this year. Who knows?

And yes I am prepared to deal with getting the documentaries past the censor.

Also are we able to get a white and a black screen for the photos? And flashes if possible.

Glen, I already wrote I was looking at historical groups in my post ;)

I haven't yet sent out my letters to the hobby groups, but now know what equipment we will have in the room so that will play a part in what is presented.

This sounds great!!! It's always really interesting to listen to people familiar with materials you're not familiar with talk about said material, always good to expand your knowledge!
