I can probably reuse some of my older costumes or, if I'm suddenly very lucky, my Miku costume will have arrived by then.
If not, I'll PM : )

Anyway, we are supposed to assemble somewhere along Wharenui Rd or something, right? I assume we get kitted up before hand and just show up? : D It sounds like FUN.

That's what we did last time. Will said where the float is in the queue and we met up there.

Will - do we need to help decorate the float? Or will that be done already? Also what about music? Can we bring our own songs to play or will you have a set list like last time?

I would suggest against the Miku costume if you're going to go with the wig - long wigs (even pigtail ones) do not do well outside with the wind (talking from experience).

I've got most of my Sakura cosplay done. I've got to the finishing touches on the hat and jumpsuit and sart the dress part but I should get it done this weekend. I'll post pics once I'm done.

Meet at my place 28 Shand Cresent at 12pm or at 1pm at where ever the starting point is at Wharenui Rd.

This year my house is just down the rd from the parade, so great for stashing stuff, getting changed at or parking your car.

I'm going to see if I can get the truck to park outside my house to decorate it before the parade starts.

Should be sweet. It's only a cheap wig so I don't plan on it lasting very long anyway. I was considering weaving tinsel through it to stop it from flying away too much as well.

Does anyone else need any tinsel per chance?

Hey Folks, bad news.

The parade organizer has not arranged a truck for us this year. Basically they thought that we had changed our mind about entering for some reason (even though the last email I made clearly said we were).

I have told them that without the truck we will be unable to participate this year.
