EVA Foam - Wellington

OK, so i'm buying some foam for our shelves in Wellington and found a distributor in Petone that does it pretty cheap.

The standard sheet size is 1m by 2m (2 square meters).
5mm thick is $37 incl GST

They won't have the usual colour range you get with craft foam etc, but if you're planning to use alot of foam in a project, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying it by the A4 sheet.

A4 sheet is only 0.06237m2. So whatever you buy A4 craft foam for - multiple it by 16 to work out the per square meter price. From what i've heard it's usually about $2 per A4, or $32 per meter worth. :/

Edit: PS - yes this is the same sorta stuff other people get from Para Rubber - but since they don't have a Wellington store anymore, we can't use them. Razz

That would be the EVA Closed Cell Foam right? :think:

Yeah, it's EVA Closed Cell foam, the company i linked doesn't, but i found them on a google search. It also linked a few off yellowpages aswell. EVA foam is apparently used in some Marine stuff too.
