Temporary hair dye help required~

Hullo, does anyone know of any decent temporary hair dye that isn't going to cost the earth and will come out ASAP?
I'm blonde, looking to dye it black. Unfortunately I have a lot of hair and its fairly long so black hair mascara just isn't going to cut it... (mainly coz I can't afford it)
I'm open to any suggestions. xDDD

I don't know how well you'd get black out of blond hair o__o

But pharmacies have spray bottles of hair colours (around $10), or you could look in the $2 shop.

Yeah, even a temporary dye is likely to stain pretty badly, especially if you're blonde.

On the dye dye sides I was going to say, dont' even bother with Swaztkoph Live 10 wash, I used it (well, tried to) for Auckland and it completely and utterly failed at turning brownish hair to black.

Depending on the hair style, I think colour spray is your best bet, but if the hair is supposed to behave like normal hair, rather than stay in one solid mass, that won't work.

Ok this is coming from an expert on dying hair, DO NOT DO IT, your hair can not come out of that staying blond, trust me, it will satin badly because blonde hair absorbs colour. If you really insist on doing it, try getting food colouring in black. Look at your local supermarket if it isnt there then ask your local baker they'll know. It provides a wash out colour although it will unfortunately stain, I recommand just buying a wig and cutting it to size and shape.

mm, I'd go with just buying a wig as well. ^^;

it's a very dramatic change and it will not wash out perfectly - this is talking from experience. I used to have long blonde hair (iiii know, it's hard to believe but I have photogaphic evidence xD) & wanted to go darker, so just used a temporary black underneath to see what I'd look like and uhh. It never came out. The black went, but the blonde was then a permanent muddy-blonde/dark brown. (and yes, I did triple check to see if the packet was temporary not permanent. Razz

it was temporary 7 or so wash out stuff)

so maaaaaaybe try the food colouring stuff - but don't ruin your hair too much! gonk

What are you dying it for - cosplay, party, other? Other than that, the spray would be really good, but will be as mentioned before very clumpy, scratchy & unwieldy. But it won't stain your hair. XD

And you can always reuse the wig! They're not that expensive either... (heh, don't get me started on this 8D;)
