I have all the peices worked out on how to start Dia (Shugo Chara!). I just need to figure out how much fabric I need and if I can do it without too much cost to me.

Larp next month, I'm an alien. Not saying anymore, on account of I know some folks here are going to be there. But I'm making a Geigerspine for my costume.

I've still got to paint the hotglue (metallic green) and then another layer of hot-glue, which will give a very slimy texture to the paint.
But I'm still VERY conflicted about the alternate vertebrae. I kinda want something to stick out behind me, but I'm worried of overdoing it. What do you guys think?
The top is being worn under a saree.

Yay, Taokaka cosplay almost done. Need wig, tights and red shorts. For now, please ignore my paper white legs.

Excuse the haphazardness of the photo, I threw it on in 20 seconds and took it off pretty quickly because it's hot as Hell.

Some of my fabric came today!! It's not quite what I expected (it's extremely see through) but there's enough there to have 4 layers of it to make it less see through. I also got confirmation email that the other fabrics have been posted and the last fabric shop has finally gotten back to me to confirm my order!! Hopefully this means I can stop panicking about this cosplay.

@kyokyogirl Yep., just hot glue squirted out of my small-size glue-gun. The spindly bits are entire sticks, cut in half and then attached at either end.

Have to re-size the Bodice of my dress before I can bead it....

Bought a bag of Polymorph Pellets today for something else, and I'm going into Napier to buy more Beads to bead the Bodice with... Very Happy

I was looking at my bead collection last night to see if I could use any of them for my Lenalee cosplay, and I found these funny half triangular circle things, and so I hotglued two of them together to create one bead, and then I nail polished them gold, haha. Pics eventually ...

Geiger-spine painted and the first few vertebrae have been over-glued. It's changing the colour dramatically, but it's looking soooooooooooo disgustingly slimy. Love it! I <3 being organised ahead of time!
