Towards the end I was also expecting..
- Spoiler:
that the King and Queen would be like "Lo, this be our daughter?" I mean, she was a brunette and while that made her look more related to them, the last time she wasn't so. I really thought they'd be more suspicious, you'd think that others would have claimed to be their daughter in attempt to have wealthy connections (Anastasia?) She didn't even have the magic hair for proof either...
I too was disappointed with the music. I found that only the 'I have a dream' song (it was catchy at the time) and the one used for the credits were good :`3
Also Flynns dry humor was quite funny. His offhand comments made me giggle. <3 |

They only knew each other for a couple days, really  but it was still done better than most other Disney movies - the end was good as it's stated that it's years later until they tie the knot and they don't show the wedding,. ;D
On music, I actually liked "Mother Knows Best", it was my favourite song in the entire movie... other than that and the end credits, though, I wasn't too keen on the singing  but it's like that with every Disney movie.

The lantern scene was eyegasm for me, especially in 3D & it was just as good in 2D and the humour is the best I've seen in animation for a while. It's one of the things that makes me accept it as a Disney Princess movie - that one scene that makes it memorable (for me, at least.)
I'm close to hating CGI, but the details they put into the clothing and the animation on the hair was so good that I can't be bothered properly complaing (... except they still fell prey to the skin-looking-weird-when-wet thing...) Just 3 things irked me:
1. How did Rapunzel know how to swim?
2. No blood on knife - I can understand why but... it just looked so weird.
... ok, there were more but... memory fail.
