How can i make my hair white?

| I haven't attempted a cosplay for 8 months now. Last time i was Auron and i think his name was Kiro or something.
At the moment i haven't thought of anything good to try out til i started watching Full Metal Alchemist again and i thought Scar would be cool  .
Making the clothes would be easy enough but its the hair that seems kind of hard to do because my hair is red. Not ginger red but like brown and blood red put together. Its dark is what it is.
Is there a dye that can make my hair perfectly white? not like old dude white but clean white or would i have to sit down with a wig?
Any tips? Sorry for the long and half pointless(i guess?) start  |

| I tried many different dyes and bleaches, strippers and highlight kits and not a single one worked. So I would say save yourself time and money and just get a wig.
There may be something out there that actually works but I highly doubt it's affordable. |

| Im looking at some tuts now and it looks like one hell of a job to take care of White hair. Yeah it would be better with a wig >_<, I hate wigs.
Dah well, the colour wont suit me that well anyway, i think? How would it look on olive skin?
Should i try a different character to cosplay? Or create my own images. |

| If you're going to be cosplaying Scar I also suggest you invest in some bronzer.
I also have olive skin and certain shades of blonde don't suit me without makeup under yellow light - i mean i look like a ball of yellow melding into my hair so no XD (i.e. make my skin nice and white and pale)
