November seems like it's rolling around waaay too fast, so here's the info for the November CCC event! :3

Well. I'm not so keen on the cross country aspect, but there will definitely be checkpoints and a map!

$Nov - Pokemon Orienteering! 6\11 CANCELLED DUE TO BAD WEATHER Orient10$

What: In teams you will be given a map of the Christchurch Botanical Gardens. On this map will be marked locations at which you and your team will have to go and take a photo. There will be instructions about what needs to be in the photo at each location (eg: a rose plant/a giant rock, etc). There will be Bonus Items which you need to try to get pictures of, but which will not be located on the maps. Every team will be a winner, but the first team back with all the required photos, and the first team back with all the Bonus Item photos will get priiiizeeees.

Pokemon? Now, because that's not hardcore enough, the cosplay theme will be POKEMON! Come as a Pokemon, a trainer, a gym leader, a game boy, whatever you like! Wearing a blue shirt and jeans and saying that you're Squirtle is fine, just be there as a pokemon! Looking for more inspiration? Search 'pokemon gijinka' in either google or at deviantart.com, there's tooons of results!

When: Saturday 6th, Meet 1pm! Orienteering begins 1.30-2.30.

Where: Outside the Museum, next to the Art Centre.

Teams: Teams can be 3-5 people and must contain at least one (1) person with a digital camera. No Digital Camera, no pictures! If you want to organise teams yourselves you can, just let me know who's in your team and your AWESOME TEAM NAME or just say that you're keen and I'll hook you up with a team. :3

Food? Bring snacks to keep up your energy levels as you TRAVERSE THE WILDERNESS. AND THINGS.

Anything else? Do you think I've missed something? Some vital piece of information CRUCIAL to understanding this whole event? Let me know! XD

That's a great idea but considering my roster - if I don't have to make the cosplay then I wont. Would it count if I photo shopped a pic of me as a pokemon? Razz
