DCC Meeting #6: Halloween

So. I thought I'd get the ball rolling with this, as it's rocking up pretty quick. A few of us are going to AuckGeddon, which gives us a little less that a week to recuperate from it after getting back. I myself am staying in Christchurch until either Friday or Saturday, depending when we're having this.

WHAT: Halloween Partay
TIME: ????
DATE: 30th or 31st October
LOCATION: sailordemyx's house.
WHY: Cos that's how we roll in the Shire.

Wow, that just looks like meme rather than me.
Anyway, we've been planning to have it at Kami's house, I think.

I shall be carving a pumpkin. Because no Halloween is complete without Jack-o-lanterns. And candy.
I know we were vaguely planning on trick or treating, what else do yuo guys reckon we should do? Horror movie? Horror anime? horror video games? Halloween themed games?
I know there's that Nightmare and Atmosphere dvd/video game series but I don't know if you can rent them from anywhere.

NOW! we have an important decision to make, Saturday or Sunday night?

Saturday= staying up later
Sunday= actually Halloween

also, I believe a movie.. then possibly some games and maybe some trick or treating.. or maybe a treasure hunt for candy around my house

Well, I may possibly be back from Christchurch on the Saturday afternoon. If we had it Sunday, we could have a sleepover... I've also been told I need to go to my cousin's place to see her for Halloween also(and a bunch of 8 year old kids running around screaming), but it's still fun. xD;; I've very popular.

SO Saturday = Sleepover, scary movies at night, dark room, hunts and such.
Sunday = hunts and such, going out and terrorising the villagers in cosplay, other.

I'm up for a girls sleepover, but not the whole weekend, I've already asked my mum that and she said no >_< So I would think girls sleepover would be best since Kimmy can't join us on Sunday and we might be able to meet Icy Rose in town before and then have the sleepover?

I'm going to a party on Saturday night, so a sleep over would be awesome. If you guys were awake all night then I could just come over from the party! Else I could just come over early Sunday :)

lol it should work, I doubt my mum will care if she wakes up with another girl in the house, and if she does I'll just explain what happened lol

btw my mum said she shall "think about it" which is about 75% yes, it depends if the renovations are done, which they should be ^_^

UPDATE: renovations WILL be done, they're practically finished now

I hope Lennon doesn't mind if he misses out.. I feel bad.. but I did suggest meeting him early in town to hang out and we could bug him at his work Laughing

oh! there's a possibility that Ange won't be finished by Halloween ;A; don't kill me, the skirt has been giving me problems of sorts >_> my mums helping me now

I had an idea! Why don't we meet up for food at your house sometime during the day? That way people (ie Lennon) wouldn't have to miss out entirely.
And I'm planning on baking a lot and I don't want it to go to waste ~~since Spotlight was having 50% off cake decorating this weekend and I just had to buy this and that and this~~

@Yunca That's too bad! A lot of my friends do art too though so I can understand the stress. Maybe we should have a post-exam cosplay meet to de-stress?
