7PM SUN Hour Rush - contained mini-marathons!

this is mostly sparked from a conversation i remember from a LONG time ago (with duckeh, i think) around this time. as we all know auckgeddon is coming up and it's crunch time for a lot of us, the assignments: THEY'RE MANY. the motivation: IT'S RECEDING. either way, we know we've got to put some serious work into getting our cosplay stuff done before the deadline (because hey, i can say now that working on a costume the night before the comp? not cool.) but we just can't find the motivation to do it. maybe we want to sit on twitter. maybe we want to finish that chapter of that videogame we're playing. maybe we want to even CLEAN OUR ROOM because we'd rather do anything but work on cosplay.

BUT, NEVER FEAR. YOUR SAVIOUR IS HERE.

how would you guys feel about doing hour rushes at some times during the week, probably in the evening (which we will vote upon)? basically, the premise is this.

1.) the hour rolls around.
2.) YOU WORK YOUR ASS OFF FOR THAT HOUR.
3.) post in this thread showing the progress you've made.
4.) feel satisfied!!1
5.) ???
6.) profit.

an hour may not seem like a long time, but you'd be surprised how much a little every few days can take the weight off you closer to the con. so: YAY? NAY? VOTE.

that's why i put it in the general forum-- i figured there would be people who wanted to do some non-auck related sewing. <3333 and yeah... getting started early is pretty much the best work ethic.

I'm keen! Tho..... I haven't been able to work on them for lack of BUCKLES. /Rages at the fact there's nowhere to find buckles.
