Mock exams term three, proper exams term four.

Best one = Art. It's not an exam, it's just three straight hours of working on our portfolio ^__^.

I'm going to fail: Maths, Science, English and Physics.

I expect I'll fail one or two papers here or there, but I plan to study at some point, so I shouldn't do TOO badly. If I actually -do- study, that is.

Sweet, yeah I'll write them out at some point. KHR so far will be about 3 DVD's. I'm not too phased, if you want I can flick you three blanks to make up for the extra 3 for Code Geass if you want.

I also want to check in Borders to see if there's any useful books on machine sewing, so Borders works well for location. My weekends are moderately free at the moment aswell, so just let me know when suits you.

Hmn ... D.Gray-Man has four disks, actually. And the fourth disk has Monochrome Factor on it too. If you don't want it, then I can take it off, but it's fiddely. And the third Code Geass disk has eps. 1-12 on it. I can stick 13-15 on too, though.

I have enough disks at the moment I think, so when I meet up with you, you can just give me replacement disks then.

I'm free any weekend too. Though if it's this weekend then Gyusle will be with me too (because she's staying with me for a month ... Only one more week left!)

Oh, Rallion, I fail tests even if I study because I'm stupid and I have no decent memory, either ^__^;;

Yeah, sounds good, what ep of DGM do you have up to? I saw 92 was out the other day aswell.

I'm free this weekend, although it looks like I 'might' be tied up for a bit next weekend while they're installing some stuff at home (don't like to leave installers unattended when I'm not there). Sat's probably easier since everywhere else in town should be open aswell so I can go for a wander. Unless I harangue the pair of you into showing me what places in town have reasonably priced black wigs that would suit a V cosplay? Razz

Uh, I have up to 86 of DGM, but the friend that downloads it will be giving the rest to me tomorrow, probably.

I don't know what places in town even sell wigs appart from 2Cheap and Mr. Thank You, and both places have crap wigs, apparently.

Sadturday's fine with me. I want to go into town anyway to get stuff.

Wigs in Cosmic corner too, the one half way up Cuba, not the one next to Mr Thank You. Not sure how good they are coz I've never bothered to really check them out. But some girls were playing with them when we went to eyeball Mar-Mar's fire sticks.

EDIT: Oh and Banks Shoes is having a massively huge sale and they have boots. Boots glorious boots, most expensive part of the cosplay *LCD screen shatters from offkey singing* Down to like $50.

pura: k, don't worry too much, I can always grab the newer ones later. Will burn off KHR in the meantime. Should fit 3 DVD's for what I've got so far. Otherwise yeah Sat'll be fine, any particular time/place? Later morning/midday/afternoon works for me. Preferably not tooo early tho. ;P (so sue me, I like sleeping in).

Pura: Yeah, but that's why you study on REALLY specific things (that which you KNOW [based on previous tests and what your teachers tell you] will be on the test), and read them OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

Usually the recommended method (at least for subjects that aren't TOO diverse) is to build a study sheet/folder on the subject. Work through all the notes etc and re-write them into a study list with the specific details. ie: physics/maths formulas, etc, and then study the study sheet after it's done. :) Supposedly has to do with engaging more than one cognitive centre of the brain (I think). You have to read it, interpret it, and re-write it. Then when you review it you're refreshing the information you've just re-learnt.

Erm, yeah, I'll disappear now.

We're starting on sculptures tomorrow I think, got the first bit for our portfolio done xP

Is it monoprints? they're so laaammeee. And the ink is hard to wash off. My art teacher forced me to put one of my portfolio 'casue she said it was good. It ish ugly though x_x

Our sculptures are going to be made out of twigs and wire though, should be fun~

We have to do prints. We can paint some parts of them if we want though, as long as you can still tell it was originally a print.

All we've been doing the past two terms is self portraits. Then putting writing/designs on portraits *dies* Everyone was insanely happy when our teacher said that we wouldn't be needing mirrors xD

I think we have to do drawing of a sculpture, make our sculpture, then we're doing coloured prints and a big painting for the last bit.
