DCC Meeting #5: Sewing Day

The DCC's next meeting shall be a sewing meeting on Thursday the 7th of October

Please bring your own sewing machines and whatever cosplay you're working on at that time. There will be experienced sewers attending (hopefully >>) that can help you.

Is it on the weekend, or the weekday? I could possibly do the Thursday if it's on the weekday, but Friday's my buy day for Uni.

I'd totally keen to come along though! Very Happy

Weekdays I'm quite busy - I could do Thursday day, or possibly Friday (then ADP). Yay for uni >_>
As for the weekend - Saturday I can do, Sunday arvo/night I can do.

i can come if it's not the weekend! ;A; i only have one class on fridays, and i finish uni at 3pm on thurs. so i could do either day (if anyone needs some help)

It's really dependant on location and time for me. I am pretty much free Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (provided it is before ADP) and Sunday. But I would also have to put into account bus timetables and such.

No I'm going up this weekend on Saturday, and might not be getting back til next weeks Thursday. XD But I suppose I could disappoint the people who want to meet me be coming back Monday with dad. xDD

O.o 5th October is a Tuesday... Okay. I'm with it again. I needed a calendar and couldn't find one. The 7th is the Thursday, and I will most definitely be back by then.

Ok, so it seems I have absolutely no plans for thew holidays. So I'll be free! I don't know that I'll have anything to work on, but we'll see, we'll see. At least I can try help people out, since I can sew a little.

also, where are we doing this? What times and it's Thursday right?

If we could, we could maybe make this a rather late one, maybe a all nighter thing, but that depends on where it's held

I won't actually be sewing anything(xDD) cos I finished everything that needs to be sewed, but I'm ALWAYS keen to help people with their sewing. ^-^

So, Rikku's house, when are we turning up/leaving?
I can try to wake up before midday but it's the holidays and I'm prone to losing track of both day and time. So, in order for me to be up any time before 2pm, I need some warning so I can sleep at a normal time the night before.
But I bought fabric~ So I'll have something to do~ nodnod

People can turn up/leave whenever they want, I guess. xDD It's just a casual sewing get together. Some time after 12pm is a good time for arriving. ^^

Otherwise it'll be a bus adventure, and knowing me and buses I'll arrive three days later.

xD;; I'd give you gaiz a ride, but seeing as I'm not going anywhere, tis kinda hard. xD;;;

Also, things people need to bring are SEWING MACHINES. And CAMERA'S so we can take pictures of what we've done and stuff. ^-^ Progress pictures ftw. 8D
Some nibbles if you want, tho it's not necessary.

Umm... Can anybody think of anything else?
Obviously just bring what you need to use to work on. xD
