^ If you can use torrents, Tokyo Toshokan's your best bet. Alternatively, Youtube-ing "Black Rock Shooter OVA" should get you to the video easy.

... And yeah, I was disappoint at the lack of BRS song.

Just watched BRS. While it wasn't a bad watch - it wasn't terribly good either.

Lets start with the thing I liked:

-Music. Nicely orchestrated battle themes. Then I saw Ryo in the credits and it was /thread
-The presentation of the BRS world. A large portion of time spent in this world is dictated by monochrome colours and the lack of dialogue. Instead, they use a lot of body language to convey their emotions.

Things I didn't really like:

-Animation. Sure, it had nice action animation AT TIMES, but half the time, the action scenes needed more frames. Some just seemed outright choppy/blocky, lacking fluency.
- Story. It took them THAT long just to get some sort of connection between two worlds? Also, they don't explain the significance of the two worlds, because all you see is Mato getting taken there by finding something.

Just my opinion, feel free to kill me if you wish.

I found BRS to just be a stylistic anime, with minimal story thing. Didn't find much interest in it outside the colour pallette but each to their own!
