library cosplay contest

Hey persons

Being the bookworm that I am I went to the library today and found a notice...

The Auckland Library is ho;ding a cosplay contest for all ages. It's in celebration of comic book month. It doesn't matter if costumes are made or bought. It's comic book characters only but it didn't specify normal comics or manga. Manga is comic too right? Anyway there's two prizes...something like a library pick and an audience pick i think

Entry forms can be pickd up at any library for anyone interested and have to be entered by the 26th September I think

I would totally enter this, but none of the cosplay I have are from comic books/manga that you can find at the city library...

This is one of the many reasons why I want to live out closer to Auckland and not far down South...

Haha, I didn't end up making her hat though. You can see me wearing in when we did the Hona Sainara dance from the Bleach musical 8)
.. wait, it was two years ago, my bad. Not last year. there's a video of us floating around Youtube somewhere (if it's still there XD)

I might go and check this comp out at my library this weekend..
